I dunno, my friend brett put on Mellow Gold and I really liked a couple of the songs. Then I nicked Odelay off my mom because I heard it was his best, but I didn't like it nearly as much.

Mellow Gold is superb.

I heard his new one was quite good from a couple friends, but I think for now I'll just way overplay Loser and Pay No Mind (Snoozer)

Yeah, a year. I've actually owned a guitar for less time than that, I got my acoustic in...August, I think. Until then I was just goofing around at friend's houses.

I've been working on singing and playing for about a month now. I dunno if I just suck, or it takes awhile to get the hang of it. Whatever the case, I'm losing my patience, and am about to throw my Ibanez across the room.

I think I can sing and play well because I've been a vocalist/bassist in a band for a few years. So don't feel bad.

I was just trying. I'm starting with an easy song, The Ramones - I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend, and I was doing okay, until the actual lyrics were going inbetween repeats. Plus I was holding my guitar awkard. I just want to learn to at least do that to play it for someone :naughty:

Yeah I was writing my own stuff but it never sounded right so I asked my dad and he said there's like some thing where for it to sound right there's only certain notes you can place after each other, if that makes sense? :confused:
