Spaceman Spiff 10-10-2006 08:49 PM

I was talking about on these forums, Brad.

He's really too damn good.

Efrim 10-10-2006 08:50 PM

I like teh Trevor

The Brad 10-10-2006 08:52 PM

It's a house/studio Frank Lloyd Wright built.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taliesin_%28studio%29

He built itand had to rebuild it twice because it was burned.

I hope you like this show because it's uploading unnaturally slow.

thelowsoundofbass 10-10-2006 08:53 PM

White and nerdy has to be the best song to come out this year.

Fatboy requires food.

Akira 10-10-2006 08:54 PM

White and Nerdy is pretty awesome. Definately the best song on the new album.
But I stand by what I have said, Straight Outta Lynwood is far from one of his best albums. Al's still my hero, but I was let down.

Efrim 10-10-2006 08:54 PM

Live At ATP 2004 (which makes no sense because there are songs from 2005 on it... :S).

Anyway, I have no idea what ATP stands for, but here's the setlist:

Time Runs Out
I Will Always Be Beat Down
Carvel
Been Insane
The First Season
The Days Have Turned
I'm Around
Purity
We Are Going Wrong (Cream cover)
Fallout
Untitled #11
Dying Song
So Would've I
How High
Untitled #3
Havana Affair (Ramones cover)
The World's Edge
Leave All The Days Behind
Representing
Song To Sing When I'm Lonely
Time Tonight
The Will To Death

I'd love to get a show from heroin years. Apparently those were absolutely amazing.

On his myspace only White and Nerdy and Don't Download This Song are on Lynnwood. You're Pitiful was supposed to be, but Blunt's label was against it and Al's label did not want to create conflict. Hardware Store is off of his last album, Poodle Hat. I like Poodle Hat more than Lynnwood.

Hey I'm back. Killswitch is awful.

Avant garde metal bands: Arcturus, Solefald, Winds, Unexpect, Carnival In Coal, Mirrorthrone, Kadanzza (sorta), Newer Emperor (even less sorta)

eh?

I like all of his stuff, did you ever hear the parody of "guess whos back?", it was never released but you can find it on the internet.

Akira 10-10-2006 09:11 PM

Common sense and a quick Google search say it's not Weird Al. If you find a parody online and it is not on an Al cd or his website, it is probably just some random parody being passed around under his name. It happens all the time.

BenJammin 10-10-2006 09:11 PM

Jesse, your prayers have been answered. I've found a guy who has a show from '97. It might take me some time to get it, but rest assured... I will get it.

It is him, eminem didn't want him to release it so he didn't. But it did leek, I think that it was supposed to be on the poodle cd.

Akira 10-10-2006 09:16 PM

Why wouldn't Em let him release it? Weird Al parodied "Lose Yourself" for Poodle Hat. Why would Eminem approve of one and disapprove of another?
I am intrigued though, do you have a link?

I don't have a link, but you can find it easily on limewire. I have no idea why he didn't let him, but it was before "loose yourself", maybe he changed his mind.

"'Lose Yourself' is one of his more serious numbers," Yankovic said. "It would have been, I think, redundant to do a parody of his more tongue-in-cheek songs like 'Without Me,' just because it's already sort of funny and sort of satirical, in a way. It works better when you can poke fun at something that's kind of weighty and serious."

Taken from Launch. Parodies get passed of as Weird Al all the time. I strongly doubt the song you heard was in fact by Al.

I remember seeing it on some entertainment news back a few years ago, saying how eminem wouldn't let weird al release it.

Well Google came up blank when I searched for a "Without Me" parody.

Spaceman Spiff 10-10-2006 09:26 PM

Observe the lowsound species and its alpha male habits. It continues to argue even in the face of obvious defeat and when finally cornered and forced to cede, it pretends to not have had any interest in the first place.

Yeah, UHF was pretty funny. It came on upn or something a few years back and I caught it just as it came on. You can order it from his website, I just looked for it a few minutes ago.

www.weirdal.com I think.

The shoes video is crazy. The guys who did that also did one about muffins, it's a little bit disturbing.
