I lived in Guatemala, and now in CT. That's why I'm such a good friend with Daven and I know a bunch of people from there. The songs I made that I showed you guys where mine but I couldn't ever finish the project because of some time issues then my friend (maco) used some part of the songs and a couple of name ideas I gave him to his project, whichis really ****ing good. I think I showed some of you guys ne of the songs with vocals, that's what he added and some other better beats since mine where a bit bland. All in all, it's not my project anymore but download his music, he is a really talented dude.

Daven 04-16-2007 11:22 AM

I have Talvin Singh's albums, and I like them a lot.

I love Singh too, the tablas in his tracks is deadly and so is the mixing, i think i prefer sawhney tho cos his music is more varied and to me its more intresting....the fact that theres singing helps me to get into it more (even tho i do like instrumental stuff too)

Tyr 04-16-2007 12:30 PM

Indeed.

GenuineImitation 04-16-2007 12:34 PM

I thought I was the only one here who likes MSI. My girlfriend in High School got me into them. I sort of forgotten about them because of bad memories, but I found out that my current girlfriend loves them and because of her Im into them again.

Tyr 04-16-2007 12:42 PM

They're great.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-16-2007 12:43 PM

i wouldn't even say that I like them, but they're just flat out bitchin', there's no denying that.

yeah its a really good album, it kinda gets better and better each time you listen imo cos you notice new stuff each time

Tyr 04-16-2007 02:19 PM

I've listened to the whole album now, and it's really good. Not as good as Talvin Singh, maybe, but we'll see when I've given it a few more listens.

funluvinhobo 04-16-2007 02:28 PM

talvin singh is prolly more talented but i think i prefer nitin sawhney

Tyr 04-16-2007 02:29 PM

I think it's the tabla that does it for me.

funluvinhobo 04-16-2007 02:40 PM

yeah i love the sound of the tablas, so unbelievably relaxing

Tyr 04-16-2007 02:42 PM

He's got nothing on Zakir Hussain, though.

funluvinhobo 04-16-2007 02:45 PM

i havent listened to much zakir hussain tbh but i liked what i heard

i dont really know much about tablas and stuff so i prolly couldnt really tell a great tabla player but i do love the sound of em and i like what i hear
