Did TEH CLASH write it?
lulz.

Your grandpa is wrong, kid. Sorry, but it's the truth.

Krabsworth 11-25-2005 12:29 AM

I can see his grandpa now

"It was the Sixties, and I met this guy, he said he was John Lennon, so I said, Imagine that!, so ya see? The bastard stole my lyrics!"

Leper 11-25-2005 01:00 AM

Hehe just like Dr. Evil's dad with his outrageous claims such as inventing the question mark lol..

DeusExMachina 11-25-2005 01:19 AM

Huh?...

TheShaneOMac 11-25-2005 02:47 PM
That was cool. The beginning conversation between Lennon and Jaggers seemed a bit awkward, don't you think?
It seemed like they were joking around a bit and a little stoned.

Jacaranda 11-25-2005 02:51 PM

Neither of them are the best actors either...

EDIT: After re-watching that I've decided, they were majorly high although I thought Mick wasn't high at the show.
Huh?...
Don't ask me. I was tired at the time.

Seafroggys 11-25-2005 04:06 PM

Lennon wrote imagine, stop trying to grab attention by being different and stirring the pot.

Leper 11-26-2005 03:45 PM
Don't ask me. I was tired at the time.
Oh, ok then. So I just got to the part in the Anthology book where John and George first took LSD by mistake. George makes it sound like the best thing that ever happened to him..

morrison357 11-26-2005 04:12 PM

magicbus 11-26-2005 06:44 PM

Is there more than one Anthology book, like the albums? Or can I just get the one book and not have to worry about finding the rest?

Krabsworth 11-26-2005 08:03 PM

I think the Anthology book is just one massive book.

Leper 11-26-2005 11:21 PM

Ya I'm pretty sure it's just one big book, that's what I have anyways.

Seafroggys 11-26-2005 11:36 PM

it makes sense, since the one book covers their entire career in great detail....i dunno though

MBS 11-26-2005 11:44 PM

Wow, I just came back from Paul (it was yesterday, but I had to drive back from Vegas) and he was soo good! He lived up to my expectations, for sure.

Seafroggys 11-27-2005 12:17 AM

He beat my expectations the first time I saw him, and matched them the second time....

for the first time I saw him (in '02) I was afraid he wouldn't be any good because he was in his 60s, but **** he sang just as well as he ever has.

magicbus 11-27-2005 12:27 AM
it makes sense, since the one book covers their entire career in great detail....i dunno though
Hey thanks jackass. I've never seen the book, so how am I supposed to know how much of their career it covers?

Leper 11-27-2005 01:48 AM

..and I'm only about half-way through, so ya..

blue3 11-27-2005 02:12 AM

Is it interesting?

Seafroggys 11-27-2005 02:20 AM
Hey thanks jackass. I've never seen the book, so how am I supposed to know how much of their career it covers?
oh sorry, i assumed you had read the book already, my mistake

Leper 11-27-2005 02:25 AM

It's so good. I like the way it's written too. There's no narraration, it's made up entirely of Beatles/people close to the band quotes. Does anyone know if the DVD's are done the same way?

Cal_on_drums 11-27-2005 10:43 AM

My God! I wanna see Paul M. so much. Does anyone have an idea to when he'll come to UK? From how others described his performance, I NEED to go!

magicbus 11-27-2005 12:01 PM
oh sorry, i assumed you had read the book already, my mistake
No, I haven't. It's not a problem though.

I think he might be doing a world tour next year to promote his new album. If he's witty at all he'll call it the "When I'm 64" tour.

DeusExMachina 11-27-2005 03:56 PM

I haven't gotten around to reading the Anthology yet. Just don't have the time. I should though.

/Probably a late post.

Leper 11-27-2005 10:20 PM
I think he might be doing a world tour next year to promote his new album. If he's witty at all he'll call it the "When I'm 64" tour.
If not, I'm sure he'll still come up with something as clever.

blue3 11-27-2005 10:30 PM

I hope he tours again. And he better come to more Canadian cities.

MBS 11-27-2005 10:35 PM
If not, I'm sure he'll still come up with something as clever.
Because "US Tour" was extremely clever.

Leper 11-27-2005 10:44 PM
Because "US Tour" was extremely clever.
Haha I didn't know that was the name of his current tour.

blue3 11-27-2005 10:52 PM

Oh.. yeah that'd make sense why he didn't go to Canada.

Magical_Mystery_Tour 11-28-2005 06:02 PM

Not coming to Canada. That's mean to all us Canadian fans. :upset:

DeusExMachina 11-28-2005 08:25 PM
Haha I didn't know that was the name of his current tour.
It's not. It's the "chaos and creation" tour. After the new album.

However, he did have the "Back in the US" tour which, although being a play on Back in the USSR, still was a lame name.

MBS 11-28-2005 08:29 PM
It's the "chaos and creation" tour. After the new album.
It says US TOUR 2005 on my shirt, wtf?

Broken Arrow 11-28-2005 08:30 PM
Not coming to Canada. That's mean to all us Canadian fans. :upset:
He did come to Toronto.

DeusExMachina 11-28-2005 08:42 PM
It says US TOUR 2005 on my shirt, wtf?
Pwned. On the back of mine it says Paul McCartney in the funny ambigram letters, and under that it says "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard." And then it has all the tour dates. Doesn't say US TOUR 2005 anywhere.

Ephemeral 11-28-2005 08:53 PM

I wanna see him so bad. :(
