I love The Leper Affinity so much...one of the only Opeth song i can say is good start to finish

Gorguts - From Wisdom To Hate

I've been debating getting that album, is it as weird and wack as Obscura? Because I'm not a fan of that album.

It's as technical (if not more) and just as dense compositionally (in terms of like, how much is going on at once) but it's alot more cohesive and alot less 'weird' and 'random'

I'd say it's Gorguts' best album

What I've heard from it was good-ish. Didnt sound like they threw the CD in the blender before they released it.

Seriously, I like Obscura and all but there is alot of crap that just doesnt need to be there. Like with most avant garde stuff there's alot of randomness just for the sake of it, not for adding to the song.

From Wisdom To Hate succeeds at everything Obscura failed at and then some
