Today was the extended family get-together shindig festive thing. We had it a week before "to get it over with," as my mom said.

Surprisingly, it went extremely well. I'm too lazy to type past experiences, but these extended family shindigs always turn into some stupid argument, with or without alcohol consumption, and everyone gets pissed off at each other until Easter or so. So, my mom basically put up a no-bullshi[font=verdana]t[/font] telepathic memo to all my aunts, and it worked wonders.

Food was awesome.

Spiral ham, chicken marsala, pierogies, kielbasa, cheese-y potatoes, various salads, killer desserts - we ate hours ago and I'm still stuffed. Wayyyyyyyyyyy better than Thanksgiving by far.
