I did not go to sleep till like 6 am, then woke up at 3pm to find my house abandoned for the day...so as usual time to crank the music as loud as it can go.
My day was pretty damn boring...

Kingofdudes 11-11-2004 10:25 PM
Looks like a good list so far.

Do you actually know if you like Cryptopsy, or are you just checking them out?
I do like Phobophile(sp?) :thumb:

Bartender 11-11-2004 10:29 PM

Alright then. I was just wondering, because if you like Cryptopsy, then Lykathea Aflame are definitely worth checking out as well.

Kingofdudes 11-11-2004 10:32 PM

would amon amarth be worth checking out?

Bartender 11-11-2004 10:42 PM

I'm not sure, I've only heard one song by them. It was good though, so I suppose so.

Riva 11-11-2004 10:42 PM
would amon amarth be worth checking out?
Yes, I really like Amon Armath. This coming from the classic metal head that I am.
Oh yeah, you guys like the new name? :D
You just got sick of me calling you KoD. :p Nice change.
I have that problem too, everywhere I eat on campus, the people know me, some even know me by name heh. I am on the meal plan though, so I eat out all the time haha.

Riva, I would have repped you, but I have been too last generous in the last 24 hours apparently
Yeah, I know hey. The guy who manages the only good CD store in my town knows me by name.

So, my day has been going fantastically. Got 4 new cds for only 46 bucks. :thumb: Got Led Zep 1 and 2, Fistful Of Alice by Alice Cooper and Somewhere in Time by Iron Maiden. This means that my Iron Maiden collection is very nearly complete. :D

BoboTheRagingHobo 11-11-2004 10:51 PM

They are very much worth the effort to check out.

Bartender 11-11-2004 10:52 PM

Nice. What else do you need to make it complete?

Eitri Is Berserk 11-11-2004 11:01 PM

I wanna change my username..anyone have any ideas for me?

BoboTheRagingHobo 11-11-2004 11:07 PM
I wanna change my username..anyone have any ideas for me?
Why don't you just decide on one your self? You should not change your name unless you have a name for your self, asking others for a personal choice/decision is a poor concept. Its your name not ours, besides you have not been here that long, and already a name change?

Riva 11-11-2004 11:16 PM
Nice. What else do you need to make it complete?
Not counting the live and best of albums, I only need Killers, No Prayer For The Dying, and The X-Factor. :thumb:

Permanent Solution 11-11-2004 11:21 PM
Any particular reason why your day was like extreme kidney pain?
Not really, that is just how my life goes, like I said, about average.
Not counting the live and best of albums, I only need Killers, No Prayer For The Dying, and The X-Factor.
I have Killers out of that list, good album. Murders in the Rue Morgue is my fav off it.

Riva 11-11-2004 11:25 PM

Give it to me then. :p

Nah, I'll search through the CD store next week again see if I can find 'em. I have to work in less than an hour. :(

Meanwhile, I had a stress migraine this morning, cos I have a low stress threshhold. Anyways, after I spewed up my liver, I actually felt a whole lot better, and the migraine went soon after that. How lucky is that!

Permanent Solution 11-11-2004 11:29 PM

I could AIM it to ya :p

Riva 11-11-2004 11:39 PM

Have to wait till next month, I'm afraid. My download/upload limit is nigh. :(

Permanent Solution 11-11-2004 11:40 PM

Haha, well done.

Riva 11-11-2004 11:43 PM

OK, off to work. Catch up with you all in 4 hours or so. Who will still be on?

*plays mysterious to be continued music*

Cya.

Bartender 11-11-2004 11:48 PM

I'll be in a lecture, so not me. See you whenever, though.

Permanent Solution 11-11-2004 11:50 PM

Not I, sleep>mx, only a bit though.

SonorKen 11-12-2004 12:08 AM

I doubt I will! Sup late night mxers!

RavenousMetalist87 11-12-2004 12:13 AM

I'm still pondering about what to do about a speaker cabinet...

Although I expected my brain to stop thinking awhile ago, it still seems to be thinking.

Bartender 11-12-2004 12:33 AM

I am no longer a late night MXican. It's 6:30am, so I'd say I'm now an early morning MXican.

RavenousMetalist87 11-12-2004 12:35 AM

I yet wonder how people manage to even stay up to that time...**** I can't even do that

Bartender 11-12-2004 12:39 AM

Well over the past week I've pretty much been sleeping through the days and living throughout the nights, so it's no great achievement. I may try to sort out my sleeping pattern this weekend though.

SonorKen 11-12-2004 12:45 AM

Yea, Im nocturnal as well. Well, I kinda don't sleep alot, then I'll sleep for 18 hours.....

RavenousMetalist87 11-12-2004 12:50 AM

I doubt I could be nocturnal...I can barely stay awake right now LOL! Sorry for the random outburst, but I seriously can't stay wake sometimes. It's happened to me at school and I just sleep for a few seconds but then I wake up. I'm glad I never fell asleep in history because if I did my teacher is a football coach, and one slight error would mean big trouble for me x_x.

Bartender 11-12-2004 12:52 AM

Fair enough. Anyway, I'm off now. Gonna go play San Andreas for an hour or so before I have to start the trek up to my lecture.
Alexander does not play any solos on any album, he was just the rhythm player during solos and lead during certain parts of songs. Alexi plays all the solos and the occasional lead part for a harmony with the other guitar.
thanks again dude....you always look at the threads where i say stuff thats wrong....
so he sings and plays the solo's? or the singer is the other guy...i get confused...people call me a stoner all the time.
anyone seen the movie of 'to kill a mockingbird'? would i be right in saying that its one of the most boring movies ever made?
and school sucks, i envy all the mx'ers in college and uni. only three weeks left though, till two months holidays :D
is it true american people only get like 2 weeks holiday over christmas?

Riva 11-12-2004 05:10 AM

Damn it you bastards. Put yourselves out for me. Stay up late, don't be a wuss. :p

But yeah, my work has a satellite uplink from which they recieve the music to play, along with propaganda... I mean adverts. They get it from the main office in Sydney.
Anyways, I think one of the classic rock MXers must have hax0red the uplink, because there was tons of good solid rock tonight, mixed in with the usual crappy bubble gum pop that they play.

Anyways, I grooved along to songs like ELO - Sweet Talkin' Woman, Grateful Dead - Brokedown Palace, Australian Crawl - Boys Light Up, Steppenwolf - Born To Be Wild, The Who - Who Are You and Guns'N'Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine. Not much for a four hour shift, I know, but it was better than nothing. Good stuff! :thumb:
