That one thread probably isn't enough to merit a perma ban. If he's a repeat offender then he'll be gone for good.

There hasn't been a Mod on since it's creation. Creating a spam thread = a temp ban of uncertain length.

Isn't there always at least one mod around to close dumb threads and ban people?

I think generally there's at least one mod around at any given time, but I'm not sure if all of them are Super'd so they might not be able to help.

Paronoidd doesn't post here much anymore because it's a hell hole. The mods need to start banning for bad threads on the spot. If somebody doesn't read the rules and makes a thread, they should get a temp ban right then and there.

Anyone else agree?

i completely agree with in my opinion if its as bad as the new led zeppelin album the threadstarter should be permanently banned.

I agree with you. Bad threads = ban. I thought it was already a rule, but I suppose it isn't enforced.

ok, i'm gonna give you the low-down, I was surfing the net, and came across this site. Now I foiund a thread that was awsome ***Metallica VS Guns an ROSES*** now, this is awsome, because my girlfriend who is a HUGE music fan and english student, was asked to wright an essay on which band is better. Now dont take this the wrong way, its not a school asignment, its just something that is supposed to be challenging. so a bunch of friends of mine, myself and my girlfriend included, have all been debating this topic, and it has become a bit of an obcession of mine, and my girlfriends...because we both like both bands, and we have done some research, and polling, but still both bands seem to fare the same. .... so here I am, newly signed up, wanting to become part of this discussion.... can you help?..... it would be great to get this thread going again, and i'm very interested in not just who people think is the better band but WHY!
