Eye Of The Beholder and Harvester Of Sorrow mostly. |
Eye Of The Beholder and Harvester Of Sorrow mostly.
Ah, fukc I think Harvester is one of the best on the album... |
I like the title track and Eye of the Beholder the most out of all the songs on that album, actually.
|
They used to play Eye of the Beholder live. That would've been cool to see.
|
Eye of the Beholder is filler?! My ASS!
|
i find it sooooo boring.
I used to like it though. |
I agree Eye of The Beholder is probably the most boring song on AJFA.. it aint that bad though..
Shortest Straw is no where near a filler! that song is so brutal makes you wanna kill some1 :naughty: |
shortest straw owns. and i love EOTB. the solo is great.
|
hey guys. havent been here in ages.
any news on Metallicas new album? :chug: |
I don't consider Shortest Straw r Harvester of Sorrow To Be Filler. They're both great songs.

I used to like EOTB. It has ood lyrics but it is rather boring.
|
Basically And Justice For All... kicks ***.
|
Bit too long though.
|

it can't be, HOS is tooo good. i love that song, and the drums near the beginning. what exactly do we mean by "filler"? a song just to bulk out an album? |
Basically a song to fill the album up.
|
Then Metallica reached a point where they produced filler albums..
|
Not really.
|
AJFA is kinda long, but its still one of my favorite 'Tallica songs. The rythm tone on that whole album is so awsome.
Seriously, that tone is ahh....:p |
its paper thin, annoyingly
|
The tone pisses me off, in general the production does but it has some great songs on it.

the general sound on AJFA is one of things that make it so good for me.
|
I don't have a problem with the tone on AJFA. I think it helps make the album great.
|
AJFA is easily metallica's most underated album, and does not get enough praise.
|
so i'm currently making a cd of metallica's heaviest songs (including their covers).
this is the list thus far: the thing that should not be harvester of sorrow sad but true don't tread on me the god that failed devil's dance bad seed -human the small hours some kind of monster what do you think? |
AJFA has crappy production. One of the biggest thrash bands around the late 80's should have better production than that.

Your list needs to be something like this
1. The Phantom Lord 2. Disposable Heros 3. Dyers Eve 4. Creeping Death 5. Frayed ends of Sanity 6. Master of Puppets 7. Wherever I may Roam 8. For Whom the Bell Tolls 9. Damage Incorporated. My last hope for metallica is probably this album, they have Rick Rubin producing. I hope they write better crafted songs, and I hope no one comes up with a scatterbrained production idea to ruin the cd. St. anger... :( |
Meh, I thought St. Anger was probably the best CD they did with Bob.
