C's up.

I FINALLY got back from my after school theatre thing. It pisses me off, that thing wouldnt be half bad if some not-retarded people were involved, and if we actually had real auditions were the sucky people that somehow make it into this one are denied.

Agreed, aside from the C > PP34Av comment, as it's completely wrong.

Sometimes I wish people who make these such decisions would wake up a realize that half the people they let into stuff are completely retarded and probably should be shot.

cobert 11-28-2006 06:33 PM

Really though, I wish instead of giving everyone an equal part and doing shorter skits, we could just have an actual play with a lead role and several supporting roles. The casting people from the university that helps us with this should really be harsh and tell some of these people how much they suck.

Im in it just to play bass after school.

Be right back, running down the street to get some iced tea.

Surtr 11-28-2006 06:40 PM

Lmao.

Sweet man.

Speaking of which, I'm going to do the same. Take a bathroom break, then grab some Iced Tea, and then possibly some food..And then maybe check the TV, and then I may be back.

Thanks for reminding me I finally have some Iced Tea :thumb:

MattSharpIsCool 11-28-2006 06:43 PM

I bought the game Bully yesterday for my PS2. It's pretty cool, you run around beating people up and trying to join one of the groups at the school.

I want that, but it's called something else over here. Canis Arcanum Candit or something like that; it's the school motto anyway.

****ing daily mail readers would complain otherwise.

I have a job and I work for my money, so ya. I'm paying for the majority of it but my parents are also paying for some for my christmas present.

Permanent Solution 11-28-2006 07:01 PM

Stew: aw. lots of people used to say that but i think i got uncool or something recently *shrug*

zach: well both are good sets. Pro M is ever so slightly nicer, but tbh I'd say it's more a matter of whether you want birch or maple.

DepthsOfDreams555 11-28-2006 07:02 PM

Yea and I really don't know which one I want haha. I really don't know the difference between the two woods I think I'm going to go to the local music store and play each type of wood and see which one I like more.

I like the finishes on the Pro M better too.

Bear in mind tuning also plays a role in how the drum sounds so knowing what differences to look for in the woods before hand is very beneficial.

BridgeToSolace 11-28-2006 07:09 PM

My band needs new cymbals, all of ours are chipped :(

And it's weird that we don't, considering that our drummer has a job and doesn't spend his money on much.

Permanent Solution 11-28-2006 07:11 PM

You guys play with chipped cymbals?

ew :-\

The fact that you couldn't tell means it's no big deal.

Both crashes are chipped, the ride and hi-hat are fine.

We break a lot of sticks, too. My drummer bought these 20$ sticks that were supposed to be "unbreakable". He broke it in twenty minutes.

DepthsOfDreams555 11-28-2006 07:23 PM

That's pretty intense, maybe he should settle down a little bit haha. Does he hit really hard?

Ride and hats are most important though tbh.

I hit very hard but I don't go through a set more than once a week unless I pick a bad stick or something.

Pazz 11-28-2006 08:52 PM

So for a video project we had to do the architecture of our school. It's a pretty lame video, but we have 2 and a half minutes of footage, and now to make it interesting we are putting in music. I want a Westbound Departure song to be playing, I just have to convince my partner it is better then their music, which it is.

Permanent Solution 11-28-2006 08:57 PM

What is their music?

Surtr 11-28-2006 08:58 PM

Lmao..This is late but Stick Breaking is for Terrible Drumming Noobs.

I can honestly say I have NEVER broke a stick, and I play loud.

Matt: I'd go with the Eminem or whatever gay **** is on there, then secretly edit it so it's got good music. Then they'll be like..Wtf man, u r so gey, go dye fo0l, i h8 u"

<_<

Pazz 11-28-2006 09:00 PM
What is their music?
Westbound Departure is Andy's old band...
