best. song. ever.

YDload 07-16-2008 12:10 AM

hourglass is like the worst song on the album. there are already two "ballad" type songs with napoleon solo and lopsided, and theyre way better!!

Iluvatar 07-16-2008 12:12 AM

lybdalla a laer tnsi dedispol
lopsided isnt really a ballad

iarescientists 07-16-2008 12:15 AM

i vote ydload gets demodded and iluvatar take his place!

Everything Post-Metal.

Iai 07-16-2008 08:47 AM

Mansun. Lots and lots of Mansun.

Seriously why were this band not huge and why have they not had a critical reassessment yet. Even if people never heard the albums their singles were basically all flawless ("Fool" excepted).

over the last couple of fun filled days:

Hoover - Lurid Transversal of Route 7
Naked Raygun - Jettison
A Sunny Day in Glasgow (still not into them much, but gonna see them with a friend this month)
Built to Spill - Perfect From Now On
Fugazi - In On The Kill Taker

Hoover are really becoming a big favourite, I really dig that album, it reminds me of Fugazi/Moss Icon/Unwound in various ways, which means I luv it.. Also, that Built to Spill album has gotten progressively better with every time I've listened to it, and by now I would say it's absolutely excellent. Gonna have to check out sum more of their work.

here's some other songs that have me hooked:

MBV - "Cigarette in Your Bed"
Beach House - "Astronaut"
Grouper - the first two songs on her new album

FUK I LUV MUSIC!
