Why did I not download this before.

i just bought FF7 and am downloading it now. sure it's overrated but i haven't really played it again since it came out, and i can't wait. i don't even remember much of the story.

aeris is the only one that dies, but they make you use her sometimes, which sucks because she's has no attack power and that early in the game her magic isn't much to speak of


the rest are permanent, i think there's spots before leaving midgar where they make you play as tifa which is the worst because she has no redeeming abilities, but you'll still do fine even if you never use her.

personally i keep in barret and red XIII until i get vincent and then he takes over for red. at least use red for a little bit though cuz if you get to the canyon where he must be used and he has no levels you'll be effed in the vajay

edit: essentially this doesn't matter later in the game though because you'll have hp plus materia and **** to help weak players and cloud can pretty much handle everything alone anyways since he kicks so much ***

oh, by the way, if you get an elixer save it. when you get the boss at the end of the cave where they make you use red just use the elixer on the boss and he'll die instantly; otherwise it will be a ridiculously hard fight.
