Ugh, I hate my internet.

But it seems I havn't missed much, and I should get going pretty soon anyway.

Gaaah. My friend is playing beer pong in his apartment, he's NEVER going to wake up for class tomorrow.

Silly college kids.
Beer pong is stupid, haha. if you're gonna drink, only drink as much as you can handle, and in a way that you know how much you've had.

Corkofski 09-22-2006 03:00 AM

but thats BORING!!

i never mix the same, ever, so when i hit the floor its a suprise...

heh, well, I prefer to only become very drunk, not throwing up everywhere.

Corkofski 09-22-2006 03:34 AM

i know if im going to throw, and stop.

yeah, I think stuff like beer pong is stupid because in my opinion there's nothing special about being able to drink absurd quantities of alcohol.

hahaha great song. A bunch of bands do it in NC and ive seen mostly all local bands do it and so far my band was the only band to actually do it good. Not trying to sound arrogant or nothing.

Drum Phil 09-22-2006 08:58 AM

Hello my children.

I didnt bother going to bed last night and im strangely not tired.

MeaninglessPhoto 09-22-2006 08:59 AM

I hear ya man. The less sleep I get, the less tired I am.

Drum Phil 09-22-2006 09:01 AM

To be fair i did go to bed.

But i didnt do no sleeping.

Pleaseme 09-22-2006 09:08 AM

Gonna get wasted tonight, then get up early tomorrow to get to DrummerLive in the Docklands. Can't wait!

TormentorScott 09-22-2006 09:33 AM

I never really saw it like that, just a different way to drink.

Given some people try to show off, but people will try to show off how much they can drink no matter how they're doing it.

Same here man, minus the Drummerlive part. My guitar player and I collected so much alcohol and drugs yesterday that id be lucky if I dont die tonight.

hehe

Drum Phil 09-22-2006 09:39 AM

Corkofski 09-22-2006 10:38 AM

Wahahaha now you've truly crossed into the area of dumb if you are doin that stuff.

Drum Phil 09-22-2006 12:35 PM

I dont particularly care about your viewpoint to be honest. I neither planned to take it nor will i be doing it again.

Live, learn etc.

Im ready to bet most of you drink, which is more damaging to your liver than smoking is to your lungs.

trysthedrummer 09-22-2006 12:37 PM

I'd rather have a crap liver though, than clogged up lungs, that you can't replace.

oliv_da_skinmasher 09-22-2006 12:40 PM

Well said. i mean smoking in the long term is more damaging and not as much fun

stevensonmat2 09-22-2006 12:42 PM

Opinions, but lets not let this become another argumentative drug thread.

Seafroggys 09-22-2006 12:45 PM

i don't do anything, honestly. I'm straight edge all the way! :smoke:

And before you say it, Jos, the only caffeine I have is the occasional hot chocalate, all the pop I drink is non-caffeinated (7-Up, Orange, Root Beer, etc.)

Josiah 09-22-2006 12:54 PM

^ haha caffine is somehtin else, it can be a good thing.

Well that's very good phil. You can not agree with my view point, but you can't dissagree with science. Meth, in it's various forms, is one of the worst drugs for a human.

However you are very wrong.

Smoking 1 cigerette is FAR worse for you then drinking a beer.

There's a few thing drinking can do, but that "liver damage" only comes from years of hard and heavy alcohol abuse. In moderation, some alcoholic beverage can be very good for the body. Red wine most particuarlly.
Booze though, will only damage your liver, stomache and in very extreme cases your brain. This is all only under extremelly heavy quantities and for extented periods of time.

Smoking is instantly harmful to the body, containing over 100 known lethal chemicals and tar build up. The list of problem that come from smoking is very long, and very lengthy. As is the number of cancers.

But here's what gets me...

Everyone who smokes.. is worse then a car. Cars at least serve a purpose, and are regulated with toxin output.

Smokers throw far more toxic smoke into the air. Smoking effects other people, and while a single smoker at a pack or 2 a day may only produce around 100 cubic feet of increadibly horrible and danergous smoke... 1 million of them produces 100,000,000 cubic feet of that stuff -

A DAY.

Talk about air polution.

Drum Phil 09-22-2006 01:16 PM

Yawn. Keep going. Im not really arsed and im not getting into a debate about it.

LoneStarDrummer 09-22-2006 01:18 PM

i'm now officially a physics major as of today.

i was origionally going to get a bachlors in architectural engineering, but now i'm going to get a bachlors in physics and a masters in architectural engineering.

it'll take a year or two (most likely two) more years of college, but it's a far better choice according to my classmates and professors.

Josiah 09-22-2006 01:20 PM

How along are you now?

That's not an easy masters, I'd imagine 3 years at least for that.
Yawn. Keep going. Im not really arsed and im not getting into a debate about it.
Haha yet you reply anyway....

But you are one of the people who are fucking up the planets air for no reason at all.
Yawn. Keep going. Im not really arsed and im not getting into a debate about it.
your just running from the truth. Coward.

maniac0796 09-22-2006 01:40 PM

I don't smoke or do drugs. I'll have the occasional beer or something to be sociable, or a glass of wine at the dinner table, but i'm not like all these hardcore teenagers who go out drinking every friday night.

The pain in my leg went away, which mean i could play drums. I didn't want to play drums to find it would make it worse, so i waited.

I'm making a computer for my dads friend, and the case has some USB ports on the top, and i wired them up to the motherboard, but for some reason windows just doesn't want to recognize them. If i plug anything into it, it'll just say the USB port has malfunctioned.

And of course, there's no USB support for windows XP because it's supposedly built in, but what happens when i want help.

Josiah 09-22-2006 01:41 PM

Are the connectors connected on the inside of the case to the proper places?
sophmore right now. not sure if i'll even be able to get my bachlors within two more years though. and 3 for the masters may be more accurate, but it's all worth it in the end.

Stickman Sam 09-22-2006 01:52 PM

I don't drink or do drugs or smoke =)

...I spend all my time practising instead...
Are the connectors connected on the inside of the case to the proper places?
Yup, it's all connected up. Windows just says the device has no drivers and therefore cannot function. Problem is, it doesn't know what the device is... And you can't get USB 2.0 or 1.2 drivers for XP.

But i will sneak a peak later and see.

It runs like a beaut

2.4GHz intel core 2 duo
2048 MB ram
300GB HDD
256 MB PCI-E 16 graphics

Insanely fast. I want a benchmark program so i can see what benchmark score it gets.

Janeway 09-22-2006 02:31 PM

Hmmm...

The car is in the driveway, but the Corvette is gone. It isn't like my parents to take it out in fall when it's below 70 and muddy out.
