I was listening to Master of Puppets last night. I think I'm going to skim through my tab booklet. I don't remember any of the songs...and in the meantime, I'll learn some of them maybe. Just a thought of what I could do.

And yes, the tab booklet does have mistakes.

You have the official one? It sounds alright all the way through to me.

Yeah its the official. It's just sometimes the way the book says to play it. But meh, I'll live from it. I could just go have a look at the power tabs also.

I can probably play every song off MOP from memory minus a few solos. I've played it so much.

I still remember main riffs, but thats far is it goes in most cases.

It's not official. A Metallica guitar tablature book has to be transcribed by James Hetfield and Kirk Hamster for it to be official. I would say some of them are pretty accurate since alot of Kirk's solos are just pentatonic and it's predictable as to where he played it on the neck.

I used to know them all pretty much. But back then I couldn't play them as well as I probably could now but I still knew most of their songs, I was a serious fanboy.

Very good song to play, very easy, it's just a lot of repetition (Well, for the rhythm guitarist at least), I really have no intention of being a lead guitarist though, so no big loss :p

The solos aren't that hard either, it should be pretty easy to learn.
