I'll meet you guys halfway.

How far is NY from Detroit anyways?
Drive? I think around 12 hours. And what's this I hear about Cream?

/lives in NY

ATM 07-14-2005 02:33 PM

That could work. Who else lives on the east coast?

RockAndRoll 07-14-2005 02:33 PM
If you provide plenty of Canadian reefer, I will gladly come get you.
 this is the happiest moment of my life.

edit: ATM do you have some messaging thing?

ATM 07-14-2005 02:34 PM

And we will crash at Robo's house ;)

Lunch 07-14-2005 02:34 PM

JPJ lives in WV, I think Woodstock lives in Ohio, and Badmoon lives in Illinois. Not really east coast, but sort of close.

Malcom got shafted.

Illmatic 07-14-2005 02:35 PM

I go to school in Illinois...I could meet you guys there? I dunno.

robo2448 07-14-2005 02:36 PM

Is it official that they are doing a show on NY? If so, when do tickets go on sale?

/is completely confused

ATM 07-14-2005 02:36 PM

We seriously need to all meet at the concert. Start saving your money now.

Lunch 07-14-2005 02:37 PM

I concur, I'm getting prepared to pay 350$ for it.

robo2448 07-14-2005 02:38 PM

I think I get my paycheck tomorrow. I was planning on a cd buying spree but I'll start saving now.

I'll have grad party money, but I was going to get an acoustic guitar :upset:

And then there's that whole paying for college thing...

ATM 07-14-2005 02:40 PM

Buy a guitar from a thrift store. Much cheaper.

Lunch 07-14-2005 02:41 PM

Yea seriously, you can't see a Cream concert at a thrift store. Get your priorities straight.

ATM 07-14-2005 02:41 PM

God, I really hope it goes down. Seeing Clapton live and in the flesh :D

BludgeonySteve 07-14-2005 02:42 PM

I thought they only did a few concerts, no tour or anything.

Illmatic 07-14-2005 02:43 PM

Yeah, I saw you once.

Too bad Floyd won't be reuniting, I'd rather see them than Cream.

You're going to make my head explode. I can't handle all this.

Lunch 07-14-2005 02:50 PM

I just told my mom, and she said as soon as I found out if it was confirmed we had to buy tickets.

Stonefree 07-14-2005 02:51 PM

Yeah, I think after that concert was one of my first posts in the CR thread, and the one that made me come back enough to be a regular. The rest is history.

RockAndRoll 07-14-2005 02:51 PM
My mom said that as soon as it was confirmed we are buying tickets.
Man this has made me so giddy.

Slug do you have AIM or MSN or anything?

robo2448 07-14-2005 02:52 PM
I just told my mom, and she said as soon as I found out if it was confirmed we had to buy tickets.
One little problem. My mom said she wanted to go as well.

Hey, going with her beats the crap out of not going at all.
