Hop Con was insane tonight, I hope to god they start doing stuff again. Paint It Black was awesome, had some of the biggest pile on's I've seen in a long while. HH/CIS were good too. Damnation AD, not into them but they play good. Missed Let Down since I spent like 20 minutes circling for parking that wasn't a mile away. Bummed I was too sore to do anything except watch.

Damn Reiner I thought you would be in to Damnation.

And I really hope that Hopecon will pack up their bags and a tour. How are the b-sides?

They're a little too much on the whole 'playing the same dropped chord over and over again' thing, but I support their use of the wah.

I haven't listened to the 7" yet since I think my record player is broken and its late. But they did play the song and it sounded pretty good.

the songs that are on there are of horrible audio quality because they were ripped from a live video from a show they played back in august, before i was in the band.

Just cause you can play an open chord in drop c does not mean you should write entire songs around it. Less talk about boring music and more talk about wah pedals and full stacks (which damn ad used, are they that big?)

Dude, have you ever actually listened to their stuff that has stood the test of time and has been pretty influential, outside of your one experience with their 2008 incarnation? I'm just saying they don't write "entire songs around" open C chords. They do play really heavy and they are really ****ing loud however.

I guess I'm just bitter because they seemed to go over a lot of people's heads a couple weeks ago in Chicago, and when I saw them in SoCal they played to me and two other dudes who knew who they were. Then on B9 in the thread about that Chicago show there were some turds calling them nu-metal and ****. I mean its not like they're some new band or anything.

Thats the only thing that irks me, I've seen other kids be like Damnation AD needs to stop while they are young. And I look at the idiot who said it and am like "THE **** IS WRONG WITH YOU".
