Tape some,"alternate lyrics," there instead. ;-) |
Seriously, how many times do we have to go over this? Did you download Eat a Peach when I uploaded it like a month ago? I don't understand why a blues and/or rock fan wouldn't listen to them.
Man I listened to my dad's copy of Eat A Peach like 4 days ago. It just doesn't keep my interest. The songs seem plain to me. |

Hey, Disneyland's cool too, even though Disneyworld is basically Disneyland with a bunch of other stuff. I lived at Disneyland during the summer, went about every other week. My friend's dad works there, so we got in for free. |
Personally I wouldn't really want to go to Disneyland OR Disney World.

Yea, well I went to Disneyworld when I was...6..... Actually, I was there again this summer, but only for a day so I was only at MGM and Epcot. It was like 2 days after some 4 year old died on the space ship ride, so the line for it was only like 5 minutes long. NP: The String Cheese Incident-Billie Jean |
i found disneyworld a horrible experience. mostly just because it was so damn hot. too hot. so hot.

Yeah, If I go on vaction, I'm going somewhere quiet or with alot of nature. I can't see how Las Vegas vacations are enjoyable, that place is literally the asshole of America.

Thunder Mountain is like that, everyone's afraid to go on it. |
I went to Disneyland a little over three years ago, so late '02. It was really fun, but I dunno if I would really wanna go back there. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but I get super sketchy and anxious around big crowds :upset:
I'm just glad I didn't go there in the summer, because it was cooking in October. |
Alright, my top ten:
1. The Beatles/George Harrison 2. Pink Floyd 3. Cream/Blind Faith 4. The Doors 5. Frank Zappa/Hendrix 6. Jeff Beck 7. David Bowie 8. Bob Dylan 9. The Band 10. The Who/Led Zeppelin I put ties in where necessary. After #3 it's kind of in order, but I didn't really think it through very long. |
im really getting into dragonforce even though they have nothing to do with this thread. i just thought you giuys should know.

It's cause you're from Canada and you're used to the cold. It's freezing here for me. :( |
I went to Disneyland two summers ago. I'm a summer kind of guy, I hate the cold. Ugh this afternoon was tough, running track in the snow...
I'm actually not a big fan of rides, but I liked Disneyland, it was pretty fun. np- Eric Clapton- Little Wing (this is such a freaking awesome cover) |
I hate the cold too. I went to Disneyland this summer, it was cool. It's not really a ride place, I spent most my time waiting in the line ups, which sucked alot.

So does anyone here like the J. Geils Band? Just thought I'd bring it up since I've been listening to Blow Your Face Out recently. |

I like them too, one of the first metal bands I liked. They get old kinda fast though because it can be pretty repetitive. I still haven't heard their new album. |
Wow, so many events.
1.Neil Young 2.Pink Floyd 3.Jimi Hendrix 4.Grateful Dead 5.The Beatles 6.The Doors 7.Bob Dylan 8.Death From Above 1979 9.Quicksilver Messenger Service 10.John Lee Hooker That's how I feel right now. I was at a bookstore and found a double disc of Hendrix rarities today. It had the stuff he did with Morrison, the stuff he did with Johnny Youngblood(I think thats his name) and other stuff like his Cream covers and Red House with the Crossroads-like shuffle. It has a short cool version of Hendrix playing the vocal line to "Tomorrow Never Knows" with Jim yelling mindlessly in the background. Other Essential albums I bought today. (brackets are what I used to own them in) Highway 61 Revisted(Mp3) Aoxomoxa(viynl) Rubber Soul(Mp3) Greendale(Mp3) It was a good day. Anyways about Schmya, not like its too late already. He already did this once before you know. Talked about school and drugs and being grounded and said he was leaving. The funny thing was he back like a couple days later, he'll cool off. I like Eric Clapton because I like Cream/. |
I really like Jethro Tull. It's to the point where I wish I could call them one of my favorite bands, but I don't know enough about their music to do so. I only have Aqualung, and I've heard some of Thick As a Brick, but that's it. The music is so relaxing, I'm diggin' it large.
|
If you like the more progressive stuff Aqualung and Thich as a Brick are about as good as they get, but there first three albums (This Was, Stand Up, and Benefit) are all great for some blues rock + a flute.

I'm always up for some of that too. I'll probably check those out next. Because I'll be here typing a paper all night, I'm down if anybody wants to do an AIM chat. Although it'll probably be destined for failure. |
