Well I'm kind of partially joking, but I see you're not, so...

Suup.

I will say that all Americans are lazy. It's so true.
has anyone here ever eaten moose meat?
Yeah, my Grandpa killed a moose hunting in Canada, it was delicious.

Tyler 02-03-2008 09:07 PM

Moose is so tender. Deer is really good too.

I think hunting is absolutely barbaric but I'll eat the food.

Anglachel 02-03-2008 09:08 PM

I love hunting

You dont actually do much you just set up a spot in the woods where you wait all day until something you can kill walks up to you and you shoot it

They're showing the Superbowl in Australia.

What the fuck?

Moon Flavor 02-03-2008 09:09 PM

Kage 02-03-2008 09:09 PM

I'd like to try moose.

Angmar 02-03-2008 09:09 PM

Yeah hunting is great, although sometimes I really hate doing it haha.

Bordello 02-03-2008 09:10 PM

Permanent Solution 02-03-2008 09:10 PM

Hunted meat is tastier but usually a lot gamier too =\

Bordello 02-03-2008 09:10 PM

i like buffalo

Tyler 02-03-2008 09:11 PM

Killing a living being for sport is disgusting, sorry.

Kage 02-03-2008 09:11 PM

wings

Nostalgia 02-03-2008 09:11 PM

I haven't eaten meat since November. I thought it was too hypocritical to hate hunting and still eat meat, so I just stopped completely.

Kage 02-03-2008 09:11 PM

That sucks.

Tyler 02-03-2008 09:12 PM

Hunting for food and necessity is different than hunting because you enjoy killing animals and happen to eat them after.

Nostalgia 02-03-2008 09:14 PM

I just eat a lot of soup, yogurt, salad, and other boring things with no good flavor to them.

Angmar 02-03-2008 09:14 PM
Killing a living being for sport is disgusting, sorry.
I agree it's wrong if you don't eat the animal you kill but if you do I don't see how it's unethical, killing animals is how meat is acquired in the first place(obviously).

I take issue with the sport.

If you go out and kill a bunch of Moose for the sport, the fact that you eat them later is irrelevant to me.

Nostalgia 02-03-2008 09:17 PM

Yeah I hear WIITR give meat and moon phase tests before accepting new members.

Vince: Nah, I can't stand either. Nuts especially; I will never eat them.

Ehh, I guess then it's a difference of ethics or whatever. But the way I see it, it's a good healthy activity that is a good place to spend time with my dad/grandpa/cousins and if we happen to get an animal out of it, great.

Tyler 02-03-2008 09:20 PM

That's a disgusting way of looking at it, sorry. I think there are better ways to bond than taking joy in killing a helpless animal just for the fun of it.

(from this point on I will never say IMO because that's implied)
