Crazy day. I don't know what to think of it, so polarized.

Probably failed my math test.

Saw Dredg, seeing them again later with the rest of the tour.

Got letters from Hodder and Gaby.

Talked to Gaby on the phone, smiled.

Read depressive stories, I'm too empathetic.

SO much good and bad mixed I'm torn at what to choose.

Choose the good. Unless you're a self-masochist, or something.

When i saw dredg with coheed, they were allright. THe drummer played keyboards and drums at the same time.

I just educated some fool in a chat room about emo NOT being simple plan.

Good, as usual. Played a mix of stuff off El Cielo and Catch Without Arms in about a 50/50 split, which was neat because they played almost exclusively CWA last show I saw. Hopefully tonight's set is different and breaks it up more. I'd love to hear something off Leitmotif.

If it's any consolation, I can empathize. Today was supposed to be an awesome day, and it was terrible. Some things made me kinda half-smile, but I didn't fully smile or laugh once, on a day when I was supposed to. If that makes sense.

Alright, well, I have been spending the last half an hour trying to find a friend of mine a song. She said she saw a Kellogg's commercial for All-Bran Strawberry Bites. She described the commercial as a "guy meets a girl with big red hair and she looks like a strawberry". Well, to the point, she wants to know what the song is. She said the lyrics go something like "only you make me do almost anything". I did a lyric search on it and couldn't find it. I searched up the commercial on the internet and couldn't find it. I haven't seen the commercial and I was wondering if the trusty Pop-Punk DT could help me out:p. If you have any information would be great. It's bugging her that she can't find this song and now it's bugging me.

There used to be some kellogs commercial on the air that had some kid skateboarding, and my guitarist is a dork and learned the cheesy song to it.

Also, my guitarist is a dick. He said im not a musician because i cant read music and because i dont know anyhting about it. The only thing i cant do is read the notes of the music, but i understand everything else.

1. I'd rather be an amateur musician that makes good music than a pompous ass of a musician that makes crap.
2. I make 75% of my bands music, but he still calls it 'his band'. I make all the bass parts and alot of stuff on guitar, where he has made 1 or 2 songs, and made a tiny bit of the bass for each.
3.He thinks he owns everybody because he plays : Guitar (so can I), Bass (My instrument of choice), drums (He cant really, he sucks, im better), and sax and clarinet. Now hes taking conductors classes, probably so he can brag about it later.
4.His girlfriend is more important than our band now. He was trying to act like he's above me and the drummer because he has a girlfriend and we dont, and i said the reason was that "I want to have band practice more than once a month".

Sorry for the big rant, i dont know how it came up. The way i see it, everybody is equal, but he thinks he god or something and he has to have total control.

I don't write the 'base' of most songs. I just improve upon what the other guitarist writes with harmonizing and octaves and what not.

The only time I get dicky is when we need to practice for a gig or somethnig and people just fuck around. Argh, that pisses me off to no end.

So I'm listening to this CD I got today of this percussionist, Emil Richards, and it's all written and performed by him, it's ten tracks with each about 3-5 minutes long, and there's up to thirty tracks in each song, and he did it all in 5 days. Good lord.

Band practice sucked for me.

Tomorrow I have to deliver flyers to every store downtown in my town for my mom and her business she's trying to start. It's not that big of a downtown, but to every store, I imagine it will take me about 2 or 3 hours. I'm making $50 and if my mom gets 2 clients I get an extra $25. I had planned to buy an Alkaline Trio t-shirt and a Coheed and Cambria CD, but my mom said that if I paid her back $100 of my iPod(she payed that much which was an early, early birthday present), she would pay the money needed for my Drivers Test. Then all the birthday money I get can go towards a paintball gun instead of my Drivers Test.
