The problem may be the two pieces of crap software you are using there.

Shtein 07-26-2005 08:41 PM

Limewires not crap its actually pretty good and it does it when I play games so the software isnt the problem

Brain Toad 07-26-2005 08:44 PM

Limewire is full of spyware, and a P2P who offers a pay service along with a free service usually doesn't let their free service do s'hit. Be a smart man and get soulseek.

And stop using windows tripe to play your music, get something decent like winamp.

That's for real. Plus while using limewire or Kazaa, you get tons of songs that don't work. That's never happened to me with Soulseek.

Brain Toad 07-26-2005 08:49 PM

I'm trying to find a different music player, an open source non-corporate owned one. I love winamp, but its a bit unsettling they are owned by AOL Time Warner. But the only open source media player I could find is for Linux, which I haven't made the move to.
Im poor I cant afford to buy programs
Do I look like a person who BUYS software? I haven't paid for software in so long.

If you want a good file sharer, get Soulseek you'll thank me
http://www.slsknet.org

If you want a decent music player, go winamp, the basic version is free, and the pro version doesn't even deserve to be hacked (unless you need to be able to rip and burn in the same program as you play music)

J_McMeaty 07-26-2005 08:56 PM

Winamp is music playing overlord.

Rise Me Up 07-26-2005 09:08 PM

I like Itunes.

Forest_Fire 07-26-2005 09:09 PM

I like WMP.

Of course, it's the only thing I've ever used, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Brain Toad 07-26-2005 09:11 PM
I like WMP.

I used WMP for the first month I started listening to music on the computer. Then I discovered Winamp and realizied Windows sucks at making media players.

Forest_Fire 07-26-2005 09:13 PM

haha, windows does bites the sandblasted carp

I have winamp, but I rarely use it. I might start using it more.

Brain Toad 07-26-2005 09:14 PM

Linux has becomming more and more tempting for me. It's the punk thing to do, you know anarchy and such, none of that windows corp crap.

Forest_Fire 07-26-2005 09:17 PM

Windows has always worked fine for me, so I doubt I'll be switching any time soon.

I don't really know much about linux, but according to dilbert, it sucks

Dilbert, while funny, is not the best source for computer information.

Rise Me Up 07-26-2005 09:21 PM

I need to say,who ever doesn't have an ipod should seriously get one.

Forest_Fire 07-26-2005 09:22 PM

We're not all rich. I can't afford one. I just have enough money saved up to go to shows.

Rise Me Up 07-26-2005 09:25 PM
We're not all rich. I can't afford one. I just have enough money saved up to go to shows.
Seriously. It's $200,and I got it for my b-day.

Forest_Fire 07-26-2005 09:26 PM

I have about $60 saved up. $200 seems like a lot when you don't have a job/nobody around here employs 15 year olds

Brain Toad 07-26-2005 09:26 PM

I once saved up money for an mp3 player and ended up spending it slowly on CDs and other stuff.

Yeah,I totally understand. One thing that persuaded my parents, though is I've worked with my dad all summer for nearly nothing(maybe 20 bucks a week)laying carpet.

Brain Toad 07-26-2005 09:30 PM

I'm too lazy to go out and get a job, but I'm being forced to get one next summer.

I do get paid to do car, toy, and other shows with my dad, but those are extreamly boring and I have to get up early.

I'm going over to my grandma's tomorrow to try and fix her computer, so I'll probably be paid for that.

I make money slowly, but enough to have a nice size nest egg.

Rise Me Up 07-26-2005 09:31 PM

I hate working, but I hate not working more,so I just set goals for stuff and buy it.

Forest_Fire 07-26-2005 09:34 PM

I actually really want to work now, but I know that in a year, when it will be easier to get a job,I won't want to work at all.

I'm going to try to get a job at a haunted house this october. Those are always fun, and they need kids.

Rise Me Up 07-26-2005 09:36 PM

Hahahahaha. Fuckasses. None of you will ever ead this post. I came back several pages to edit it. You all suck.

I know, and there's like twenty of them in the area.

We actually have a famously haunted building here. I went to it last year, it's cool. It was a mental hospital where people went to die, so over 10,000 people supposedly died there.
Linux has becomming more and more tempting for me. I just thought it was to hard to get used to so I went back to using windows. It's not bad, as long as you don't buy Microsoft products, which I never have. I might try linux again though. I have linux on my iPod and it's pretty sweet.

Probally. I'm having a bad night.

I ate too many skittles and I feel like I'm going to puke. I also rented a game that sucks and I'm bored with already for 7 nights.
