i guess i'm the only one to disagree

i was told that i would like Maps and Atlases because i like MTB, but really i don't. its just twee with more crazy guitar riffs (although you could argue that MTB is just The Dismemberment Plan with the same gimmick)

I would say that with their first record but they really tightened up with You and Me and the Mountain

yeah that one song i heard sounded more boring guitarwise but still definitely catchy, cool bass riff

Prolyphic & Reanimator. The guy's flow is a little grating but it's a quality album.

Also gave the new Sun Kil Moon a shot. For the first 7 songs I was ready to declare it album of the year and all sorts but by the end of the record I was just so bored.
