Yeah, she was the one in that "Stacy's Mom" video. I forget the band...lol.
So that's where I remember her, wrapping her legs around a pole...on the kitchen counter.

They blatantly ripped off Fast Times At Ridgemont High for that video.

I think it was more of a tribute, cause it's such a sweet movie.

Which isn't surprising since they blatantly ripped off The Cars (who did the song that played in the background of the pool scene in Fast Times) for the song.

Robert Plant opened up for The Who a few years back, and I was at one of their shows. He wasn't bad by any means, but I wouldn't say it was great or anything. I'm sure someone who enjoyed Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant would have liked it more than me.

Pigs(1 Different One) saw him recently and said he was great. I really don't know anything about his live show as of late, just I heard he was solid.
"In My Time Of Dying" - uncredited cover of the traditional song (as heard on Bob Dylan's debut).
That's an odd one because on the Led Zeppelin DVD, they play this song at Earl's Court and right before the song Plant says something along the lines of "this is an old blues tune, and now its here at Earl's Court" Doesn't that kind of tell you they don't credit it to themselves?

Is it saying that they know its a cover but haven't credited the original recorder of it or is it saying they claim it to be an original work by Led Zeppelin alone.

Strange...

Leper 07-13-2005 11:02 PM

I heard he's going to be playing lots of Zeppelin songs, so that's what really made me go out and buy them, seeing as how i don't know much of his solo work.

Illmatic 07-13-2005 11:09 PM

On Physical Graffiti, "In My Time of Dying" is credited to Bonham/Jones/Page/Plant

"While no official statement has been made it appears that Cream (Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce) will perform three shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden on October 24, 25 and 26. These gigs will be the band's first United States shows since disbanding in 1968. These shows will come on the heels of Cream's May reunion at London's Royal Albert Hall. With the exception of the band's 1993 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, the Royal Albert shows were the group's first gigs since breaking up."

Mmm. She's hot in that video.

Leper 07-13-2005 11:30 PM

That'll be a kick-a$s three days. How embarrassing would that be though for Cream if all 3 days didn't sell out though? Hehe, they'll obviously sell out but it's funny to think about.

Lunch 07-13-2005 11:41 PM

An illegal border crossing might be in store.
