Raven: Basically, I was in the basement with my lady friend "doing things." Her leg jerked and knocked over my bass accidentally. The electronics are now shot to ****. At first they were fine, but got progressively worse. I took out my PUPs but left them connected to the wires, and my wires were all loose and my pickups are all cracked and broken all around (both neck and bridge...I've got a standard Jazz Bass).

Basically, I'm going to buy some new active PUPs (either active Barts or passive DiMarzio Ultra Jazz PUPs) and see what happens.

And lowsound, I'll see if I can borrow a bass.
