Wooo, I finally got the Groove Essentials DVD!!! :D



I'm kinda annoyed atm. Last Saturday I auditioned for a band...a pretty big band might I add. Their myspace gets like 1000+ hits a day, they have a European tour lined up and interest from Hellcat records!

Anyway, they seemed to like me and I got a call asking me to come back this Saturday and learn their album note for note. So I spent the past week learning their album, writing out charts and shizz, panicking incase I screw up. I found out last night I'm not needed this weekend as they're holding more auditions and they're gonna let me know sometime this weekend whether I got the place or not!

Bah! Can't help feeling a little frustrated.

I inserted them by hand on the Staff Editor in Cakewalk. I'm pretty sure they'd be right on the mark, as that's how they are in Cakewalk.

nope, not at all. but it's a sign they don't mind jerking you around. auditioning for bands is easy, and mostly fun. assuming they are professional in their dealings (as in your case that is [I]not[/I] a professional thing to do). as well you deff don't need to learn an entire album (let alone note for note) for an audition.
