Oh man, you got me.
/me has seen Michael Angelo Batio play live in a small shop whilst about a metre away from him.
I also got to meet him, shake his hand and just generally talk to him for a bit.

Best school trip ever.
That double guitar thing is the most stupidly awesome thing I've ever seen.
Put On Your Rosy Red Glasses is better.

The lead of Fall Of Troy is increadible considering how young he is, and the fact that he plays everything live, with a loop pedal, WHILE singing and screaming. And really, a lot of the guitar work is pretty darn good.

Who the **** cares if Number Twelve's guitarist is better? You know what? http://www.angelo.com/ is better than Number Twelve's guitarist. Leagues better. Does that mean that you shouldn't appreciate Number Twelve for the guitar work? No at all.

And really, if you dismiss The Fall Of Troy as "just another scene band", you're very stupid. Or very ignorant of the scene.

The Fall Of Troy is so not a mosh band. If you want a mosh band, try http://www.purevolume.com/blackmyheart.
Agreed. If you've ever seen The Fall Of Troy, you'll know how great and fluent they are as a band. They change up sections of their songs and improvise during live sets for no reason, and even then they play songs brilliantly.

Then again, I never liked #12. I thought they were bland and their style of 'metalcore' made the walls of my bedroom bleed. So I guess I'm biased
Well all music gets boring fast. This is why I have over 10000 songs on my comp and increasing daily.
No, a 7:00 instumental, that bascially sounds the same throughout, other than gets boring a lot quicker than your average album.
Jon: What if I dismiss them because I don't like them?
That's how it's supposed to work.
So I'm still excited about starting my vinyl collection. I feel totally ridiculous to be as excited as I am, but oh well.
I just started mine not too long ago. I have one 12" and five 7"s.

Yeah.
Him playing a double neck guitar that goes off to both sides in a V shape was amazing. He was just there tapping, and doing it over the back of his head and stuff.
I mean, I'm not one for really fast guitarists like that, but it was impressive as hell.

Meh, they change it up, though they tend to stick on a motif longer than necessary.

Oh ok, cool.

I started mine last night. 2 12"s (1 autographed  ), 1 7".
Well all music gets boring fast. This is why I have over 10000 songs on my comp and increasing daily.
I discovered Misery Signals September '04. I can still listen to them now and get chills, and I listen to their album more than once a week.

Sounds good. As long as you don't give bull**** reasons.

I want to start one bad, but I want to wait until I have a record player to start buying some vinyl.

cbmartinez 04-03-2006 02:04 PM

Fall Of Troy is so bad.

cobert 04-03-2006 02:04 PM

Kif: i can see someone not liking the number 12, but i think calling them 'bland' is a little too much.

Im gonna go rub one out.

Nice talking to you all.

I can't even talk right now.

Oh. My. God.

Just the one album? I'd get bored.

I don't have one myself, but my dad does.

My roommate and I might get one next year for our apartment though, because it's hella classy.

Mute Print 04-03-2006 02:07 PM

Wow. That was impressive.

Which is a clear sign that you listen to bad music.

My dad used to have this one that was really awesome. It hooked up to surround speakers and it was great. Then, he ended up selling it at a yard sale for twenty bucks:angry:

Ps. What records do you have?

Hahaha, seriously. That's insane.

Get Fighted 04-03-2006 02:11 PM

Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins has revealed that A Perfect Circle sticksman Josh Freese drummed on the band's forthcoming new album, which is due out on June 5. The band's previous drummer Mike Chiplin left the band last July. "Josh Freese was great," says Watkins. "He recorded all his parts in two days. It was a toss up between him and Travis Barker [former Blink 182 drummer]. Travis agreed to do it but Bob Rock [producer] had worked with josh before and wanted him."

Just though you'd all like to know.

Nope, he actually does that live.
It was possibly the craziest thing I've ever seen in real life.

The true flying V.

Claudio just wishes that he was good enough to suck that guy's dick.

Mute Print 04-03-2006 02:16 PM

Haha.

That guy is amazing, but his playing would be tough to actually put into any kind of music. Still impressive though.

This is really awesome. What a bad *** cello player.

/wants to be the guy playing marracas for that band
Haha.

Well, the backing tracks he plays with would be enough for me. I don't need vocals are anything with a guitarist like that. I would listen to an album of him soloing with backing tracks.
