However, there is a major reason to determine that ATliens is Outkast's best album - because it is. :thumb:
word em up |
I like Aquemini best.
That sounds like a ****ing sweet show
Wait, why would they cancel? It would be an awesome show.
Aesop is hella unique. S'why I like him. Same goes for Dan The Automator, I found that **** to be really unique, it's like opening a whole new door for hip hop.
Automator has been making music for quite some time
got American Gangster from the library today. It's pretty disappointing but Roc Boys is awesome.
It's an alright album, nothing on it really blew me away.
DJ Ski's remix of it is better, The American Godfather. You can find it online for free.
How's it compare to Kno's remix of the Black Album?
Also, forgot to mention that KMD might appeal to some of you who don't care for Doom on his own. He is a little more focused on the KMD releases. |

Isn't that one a mash up with Nas or something? I remember seeing something like that. |
How's it compare to Kno's remix of the Black Album?
Kno's is one of the best, I think it's only second to Pete Rock's remix. American Godfather is really cool because he mixes up a lot of the music from The Godfather into the beats but they are also classic Ski beats. I tried looking for it online, but it looks like it was taken down. If anyone wants it I can upload it. |
That would be awesome if you uploaded it.
Automator has been making music for quite some time
I was solely speaking for my taste in hip hop, and those that have never heard of said artist, as I just recently discovered Automator. |
Okay.
Anyone here like AZ? I want to check out Doe or Die pretty soon, I love his guest spots on Nas albums.
AZ is great. Doe or Die is a really underrated album too, definitely check it out.
Doe or Die is so good.

Do or Die is awesome, almost as good as Illmatic, just not as consistent. But god damn, Gimme Your's and Rather Unique are awesome tracks. |
I like Ho Happy Jackie.
Hey what are some similar artists to Dr. Octagon and Deltron 3030? Them and a couple of other acts are about about some of the only rap I listen to and I love the weird beats they got going with them.
Also, artists like Spank Rock, just really funky, almost electro beats mixed in with rapping and such. |
Madlib has some awesome beats, check out Madvillain and Quasimoto stuff.
There was some discussion over the last few pages about Dan the Automator's stuff, and you should look into some of that as he was a part of Deltron 3030. Kool Keith has some wicked stuff too, he is Dr. Octagon. He has many many names. |
Outkast - ATLiens has some pretty spaced out beats, though I like Aquemini more. Also Vaudeville Villain by Viktor Vaughn and anything by Zion I.
I'd check out the Pharcyde too
Are any of you guys into Z-Ro?
