They certainly have some doom metal type songs, but they're not entirely doom metal. Just many of their songs went on to provide influence for the genre.

Sleep are amazing, I love them. [I]Holy Mountain[/I] is their best, with [I]Dopesmoker[/I] second. In fact, [I]Dopesmoker[/I] is worth buying just to hear Sonic Titan.
