They said it's a bit like a mixture of god hates us all and seasons in the abyss, well kerry did anyway

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 08:52 AM

hopefully Tom and Jeff will get more lyrics and music included, Kerry handling almost a whole album got kinda repetitive

Jamie FT 08-07-2004 08:59 AM

Well Dave is with them again so hopefully it'll be a really good album

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 09:02 AM

Jeff did say Dave made quite a difference in the songs
any thoughts on what the new slayer will be like?
Probably bad.

DimebagDarrell 08-07-2004 09:22 AM

tom said its going to be very slayer, so that gives nothing away really

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 09:29 AM

i'm expecting something seasons in the abyss-ish

DimebagDarrell 08-07-2004 09:45 AM

I hope so it would be good i expect something like divine intervention just not quite as intense

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 09:47 AM

yeah, i wonder if Tom can still hit the high notes. On the warfield DVD he sounds like an old man at times :upset:

DimebagDarrell 08-07-2004 09:53 AM

well thats because he is getting older i suppose it was going to happen eventually i think he can still do it though

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 09:55 AM

i think hes probably the oldest man in thrash, Paul Baloff would've been too

DimebagDarrell 08-07-2004 09:59 AM

the guys outa iced earth look pretty old [dont tell them i said that] there more power then thrash though

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 10:05 AM

Bruce Dickinson can still hit the high notes so i dont think Tom should have trouble, his voice was better at download than on the Warfield DVD

DimebagDarrell 08-07-2004 10:10 AM

bruce is having troubles though so i have heard aparently some the songs have been taken off the set list :(

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 10:17 AM

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 10:40 AM

DimebagDarrell 08-07-2004 10:44 AM

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 10:50 AM

sensitiveorgan00 08-07-2004 02:22 PM

y0, Forbidden is good.

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 02:23 PM

i only have forbidden evil on vinyl

Ratmevilempire 08-07-2004 02:58 PM

im gonna see metallica, mainly for the sole reason that its metallica. So hopefuly I will have seen the big 4 of thrash one day.I'll be seeing metallica and slayer, then if they tour again megadeth and anthrax.

DisposableHeroes 08-07-2004 03:00 PM

i hope Megadeth tour with Anthrax, though Deth touring with Slayer is highly unlikely unfortunatley, or touring with Metallica

GraveRobbersINC 08-07-2004 06:19 PM

I think Megadeth touring with any thrash band would be good lol.

Last Ditch Effort 08-07-2004 07:07 PM

I respect Slayer and own a few of their albums (Reign in Blood, Seasons in the Abyss, and South of Heaven) but they do get quite repetitive. Dave would make up for it and no matter how you look at it, a Slayer and Megadeth concert would rule.
