Best Pop album ever: Revolver, best vocals ever put on record.

I can't get into the Band at all. Music From Big Pink just...sucks. (IMO) I can't listen to it at all. Every song is horrible, (except "The Weight") I just can't stand the vocals. The music's no good either but the vocals just murder their songs for me. I don't see why everyone is talking about them. :-/

I refuse to get sucked into trend this time around. :p
Blasphemy!

Hot Rats is definitly my favorite song on Hot Rats, too...

Against Miik! 11-29-2005 03:39 PM

So how about Lynryd Skynryd and Sabbath finally getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's great, except the induction ceremonies are held in New York, not Cleveland where they should be, so I can't go see them. But still...

Broken Arrow 11-29-2005 03:54 PM

Skynryd-meh

Sabbath-Awesome

Who else is getting inducted?

Against Miik! 11-29-2005 04:24 PM

Sabbath, Blondie, Miles Davis, Skynyrd, Sex Pistols, as well as non performers Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss

JonG 11-29-2005 04:25 PM

Traffic got in a couple years back. I was happy :)

What an internet badass.

I'm hungry and cold.
What an internet badass.
I can only say these things on the internet; I could never bring myself to beat up a small child IRL. :(

I'm eating Kettle Chips and drinking Root Beer. Life is somewhat good.
Haha, Morgan Freeman is in my avatar but like Jon said, I'm switching back to Jimi.
Morgan Freeman is so cool.

Coke Bottle 11-29-2005 06:50 PM

I never see Montrose mentioned much, which is a tragedy.

Have you heard Before the Flood? The Band is great on that.

Last Waltz DVD rocks too.

I really like the Band.

No Stooges!

Badmoon 11-29-2005 07:11 PM

I'm not that into The Band (only like 2 songs), but I'm not about to trash them or anything; I'm just not that attracted to them.

EDIT: It's all irrelevent anyway. Being that Matisyahu is where it's at. ;)

MBS 11-29-2005 07:17 PM

The Last Waltz is one of my favorite music DVDS and Before the Flood is an awesome album. The Band rules, in general.

Same here. They're pretty good, but I'm not a diehard fan.

It's about time Skynyrd goes into the hall of fame.

Why are the ceremonies taking place in NY?

robo2448 11-29-2005 07:59 PM

Yep the Band owns. Rock of Ages is an awesome live cd.

I just finished my write-up thingy on George. I didn't even have time to really edit it, stupid AP US History essay is taking up my time:angry:. Hopefully it's pretty good though. I'm about to post it.

Beast.

Jacaran 11-29-2005 08:30 PM

I'm addicted to myspace... I know its a shame. Although the only people who use it are girls... I only have like 5 guys on my friends out of 25, not many people use it in my area. They are too cool for it.

I wish I had VH1 or whatever I'm missed/ing the UK Hall of Fame and the US one.

zabbit82 11-29-2005 08:33 PM

I was addicted to Xanga, but I'm becoming very dissatisfied about it right now. No point to it.

I should prolly get going on building my own myspace site...

Badmoon 11-29-2005 09:15 PM
I found Badmoon's myspace.
I made an account...and that was basically it.

robo2448 11-29-2005 09:16 PM

w00t I was finally able to post my George Harrison article. It's way, way too long but I don't have time to edit it. So I guess none of you will want to waste all night reading it but everyone comment anyways 'cause George is awesome.

You guys are dicks.

I like The Band a lot. I don't find them boring. They write good songs, are great singers (most of them), and Robbie Robertson's guitar playing is fascinating, especially on The Last Waltz.
