the body is going to be a replica of the rainbow bass before carl put the huge horn on it. it's going to be made out of zebrawood with active jazz pups and a jazz neck. its going to be a really unique instument. im looking forward to seeing how it sounds and plays.

Jamie 12-26-2004 07:02 PM

Alma 12-26-2004 07:02 PM

Dieforitall89 12-26-2004 07:04 PM

Right now im liking my 15 inch combo..so what i plan to do next year is pick up a workingmans 4004 or 8004 head and Grab a 4x10 cab then ill have a 1x15 / 4x10 stack and be all set for when i get a 5 or 6er.

I didn't catch the rest of this conversation but DO NOT BUY AN IPOD.

Other brands (Just as big and respected, if not more) make other mini-HDD players which are MUCH more durable and have a MUCH longer battery life. You ask anyone in a shop that sells various makes and they'll tell you you'd be a fool to go for the ipod.

Alma 12-26-2004 07:05 PM

i think its time to give me some rep....

Jamie 12-26-2004 07:05 PM
in that case i would go with ipod :) those things are great
yeah, and im a complete music freak! I listen to around 3-4 hours of music during the school day. As soon as I leave the house its music, then at break, music, then lunch, music, then break, music, then home, music!!

cooool! you UK people, jooles holland is on! and its a great show!!!

Im wondering: how tough are ipods? just i need it to be really tough, i go through about 2 minidisc players a year from normal wear and tear and the amount of usage they get.

thanks alex, what i need is:

at least 15gb
has to be really tough and strong
good sound
long battery life
SMALL
good with computers (unlike the sony minidisc software. its absolutely TERRIBLE! ive emailed sony loads about it)

Jamie 12-26-2004 07:08 PM

elvis costello is going to be playing on jooles holland soon! (im not sure what channel but robbie williams just finished)

an interview with paul simonon too!

PaulSimonon 12-26-2004 07:09 PM

Minidiscs can blow me. Ipods are pretty sturdy, but I'd rather have the Audio Research 30 gig thing.... and it's cheaper than an Ipod Mini.

Dieforitall89 12-26-2004 07:11 PM
