ME2 was much smoother and fluid
I found that I was was suck behind cover for much much longer in ME2. You have to rely on your team mates too much and their AI is terrible, they would die so quickly and I would have to fight a battle by myself and it would take forever. And the reloading shit was stupid, it made the game less futuristic. And they took out the planet exploring and replaced it with that scanning bullshit and that took so long. tl;dr they took out the super geeky stuff and replaced it with stuff that other games have, which IMO ruined the game. |
wow games selling out to appeal to a larger audience
I am utterly shocked |
wow games selling out to appeal to a larger audience
I am utterly shocked
=> i'm shocked I can still complain about companies ruining games by selling out |
every industry sells out THATS THE POINT OF BUSINESS
to do just enough not to alienate core fans but enough that more casual buyers enjoy it |
=> art should be an industry
and actually if everyone did the same thing as everyone else no business would take off ever heard of innovation how are you even passing university |
cant wait for crysis 2, looks great, didnt play the first one because my comp sucks balls
|
cant wait for crysis 2, looks great, didnt play the first one because my comp sucks balls
the first one was fun until you found the aliens, and then it was just derivative and boring I haven't seen any of the videos for crysis 2 but I'll most probably play it and I'll almost certainly have fun doing it |
idiot, i said every industry does it, NOT EVERY BUSINESS
|
the first one was fun until you found the aliens, and then it was just derivative and boring
it was kinda generic but i thought the visuals and physics made for some awesome gameplay regardless |
what an idiot right adb
|
every industry sells out THATS THE POINT OF BUSINESS
I don't think you understand syntax you said the point of business is to sell out |
Brent not understanding something.
nothing new to see here |
they took out the super geeky stuff and replaced it with stuff that other games have, which IMO ruined the game.
dude planet exploring in the first sucked ass. every planet was a dead husk with maybe a tiny ass station that you'd have to fight through. |

yeah I liked doing that, it was realistic in the sense that 99% of the planets would be like that there is no planet exploring in the second one and in my opinion having planet exploration (even if it was mediocre) >>>> not having it at all |
yeah I liked doing that, it was realistic in the sense that 99% of the planets would be like that

in the first one?
I loved it, it was like what it would be: weird environments that are hard to navigate through with isolated areas of interest. the second one was just scanning the planets for metals, which was really boring |
i would much prefer the planet exploring rather than scanning for minerals, that is p boring
|
that's what I preferred, too
|
and shooting stuff with the rover or whatever was kinda fun
|
it was kinda generic but i thought the visuals and physics made for some awesome gameplay regardless
yeah the graphics and physics were great when they were actually interesting, I mean the alien part was so boring (zero gravity = unrealistic/unrelatable physics, fighting them took way too long) doing the part with the koreans was a lot of fun, I'd play it again if I owned the game |
I don't think you understand syntax
you said the point of business is to sell out
nope there were invisible parenthesis that said (is to make profit) |
planet exploration (even if it was mediocre) >>>> not having it at all
naw if they weren't going to flesh it out and at least make unique environments with hidden secrets/rewards i dont see the point. not saying the planet scanning is any better |
the planets didnt look exactly the same
/sort of a mass effect fan boy |
nope there were invisible parenthesis that said (is to make profit)
Wow Just Wow |
naw honestly the environments were pretty much the same flat landscape with different colors
i <3 mass effect too have you played dead space btw? honestly not a big survival horror fan but dead space thoroughly creeped me out and ive started the second one and it seems it's gonna be just as good. |
i played dead space about a quarter of the way through and then stopped, dont remember why, really liked it though
