Mexican Bandito 06-16-2006 05:20 AM

yay you're all Primused out!
I can never get band shirts that fit me, it pisses me off. The woman fit ones look stupid and the guys ones are always huge.

I thought my cds might be here today, but no :(

What are you up to this fine, rather windy day?

Patrick O))) 06-16-2006 05:24 AM

I go for XL these days because I always manage to shrink them a size :( I can fit my sexy, athletic bod into medium but I like the extra baggyness =]

What are the cds you gotten? I raided pa's cd collection yesterday; ripped some SRV and a band called Brand X, pretty awesome jazz fusion

It's pretty still here. I'm working 5-8 tonight, which means I need to set off about 3 lol. It's worth it to work at HMV and have a job sorted for next year though =]

I'm redoing my mp3 player, then I'm going to eat and stuff

Your fine self?

Mexican Bandito 06-16-2006 05:32 AM

So whore your body much? huh Pat?

I'm going to tidying my room, downstairs and stuff. Then when my dad gets home I'm going to get my bike out and go for a little ride along the river - I have to get fit!
Then I have to sort out what hours I've worked this month to check my pay cheque because I've got a feeling that they weren't getting put down right :-/

I've been listening to Sky, my dad loves them. They're purly instrumental. It's strange because I've not heard them since I was a nipper but I can still hum along with the songs....

Patrick O))) 06-16-2006 05:38 AM

<.<

^-^

That blows about the paycheck, is it out by much?

I remember as a kid in the car we'd always listen to La Grange by ZZ Top and Suck My Kiss by RHCP really really really loud

Mexican Bandito 06-16-2006 05:42 AM

Well it's just really for this month I'm concerend about.
I've been working in a different store, where no body knows my name. It was sorted out the night before I started and when I asked the guy what hours he wanted me to work this week coming he just said "come in and work whenever"
And I don't have to sign in or anything official like that. I'm sure it'll be find but it's just really a precaution I'm taking before I forget what hours I worked. :)

yay ZZ Top!!
My family were on holiday down in England one year a while back and my mum bought a tv theme tunes cd and we were going to play guess the theme tune. Anyway we were driving along and Robin Hood came on, so my dad put all the windows down and drove down the busy high street with it blasting out :upset:

Patrick O))) 06-16-2006 05:47 AM

Haha, wow

We did that with One Better last week. We stopped at some traffic lights next to some really tricked out car playing some shit RnB, so we turned it up

PAJJ 06-16-2006 07:01 AM

hey thread

I'm bored of being at work so on my lunch break i thought i'd watch neighbours to put a smile on my face, nope, ****ing football.

Refl 06-16-2006 07:34 AM
Well Sugar Rush was, ahem interesting :p
Yeah

I can't really see them taking it anywhere really interesting this time though

The whole "plot" thing is kinda gone now it's more of justa series

tumples 06-16-2006 09:40 AM

if it tried to introduce a plot that was too deep, it just wouldnt work

Jev 06-16-2006 09:55 AM

I don't really remember much of it but it wasn't that great.

tumples 06-16-2006 10:08 AM

yer, youre right, but i watched the whole series because it put off revision last year

Jev 06-16-2006 10:16 AM

Wait are you talking about the first series?
I liked that a lot, just last night's episode wasn't as good as it could've been.

Atomic Rain 06-16-2006 10:45 AM

It's just so cheesey though...

Classic song by them = Tocatta

Jev 06-16-2006 10:47 AM

What are Sky like? Instrumental like Explosions in the Sky or what?

Atomic Rain 06-16-2006 10:50 AM
What are Sky like? Instrumental like Explosions in the Sky or what?

Maybe, except they're all classically trained and they don't write songs, they compose.

Jev 06-16-2006 10:54 AM

Well I don't know :(

Yeah I agree with you on the cheesyness. Their songs are just so catchy so you forget about the cheese factor!
