No.
Yes.

Badmoon 07-12-2005 05:42 PM

Definitely not.

ATM 07-12-2005 05:42 PM
Wow, I didn't think they could get away with charging that much. I doubt I'll go now.
Yea, same dude.

We should try and go to a show at the 930 club.

Also, @ Badmoon and Ray's argument.

Illmatic 07-12-2005 05:43 PM
Definitely not.
I disagree.

I might try to go see Widespread Panic at Nissan if it isn't too expensive. I also might go to 311 there since a bunch of my friends are going.

I haven't checked any other venue's upcoming concerts recently.

And I would get involved in Moon/Ray's argument but I really don't care enough about The Stones, AC/DC, Deep Purple or even The Beatles to get involved in a useless argument.

ATM 07-12-2005 05:44 PM

Smooth jazz >everything else

\m/ Kenny G
I disagree.
You would.

Your comparison is weak...and gay.
I don't think my parents even remember the 60's.
My dad says that if you can completely remember the sixties, you weren't really though.

123

I actually listened to some on the radio the other day, regardless of whether you're joking or not.

Yea, I was joking about smooth jazz. I can't stand that stuff.

Oh god. This is going to be ugly.

thickasabrick 07-12-2005 05:50 PM

Anyone here feel like posting Machine Gun? I'm gonna (try to) learn it, but I don't have the song I realized.

Lunch 07-12-2005 05:50 PM

Well these are the Musicianforums and we are in R&M in the classic rock thread, so it makes more sense for people in here to have a band avatar than a sports one.

ATM 07-12-2005 05:50 PM

I would, but I'm not on my PC. I'm on my grandparents ancient one.

Fisticuffs!!!11!!

ATM 07-12-2005 05:51 PM

I'll give you a rap on your Jack Johnson.

Lunch 07-12-2005 05:51 PM

I would, but I'm lazy. You mean the version from Band of Gypsies right?

And Ray and Moon, don't have a (serious) meaningless argument.

If you want to throwdown fisticuffs, fine, I got Jack Johnson and Tim O'Leary ready for ya.

Is there another version?

Lunch 07-12-2005 05:57 PM

The Live at Berkely Version, which is just as good. I think I prefer Live at Berkely to BoG overall too.

ATM 07-12-2005 05:58 PM

Machine Gun is such an intense song. I love it.

Illmatic 07-12-2005 05:58 PM

I heard "Mama Kin" on the radio today and I can't get it out of my head.

It's by Aerosmith, so I feel slightly ashamed.

ATM 07-12-2005 06:01 PM

You don't dig Aerosmith?

Glitterati 07-12-2005 06:04 PM

Not everyone digs Aerosmith.

Illmatic 07-12-2005 06:05 PM
You don't dig Aerosmith?
They're not Boston's finest export.

ATM 07-12-2005 06:07 PM

I'm not the biggest fan, but I do like Dream On. Especially since Tyler wrote that when he was 17 (or so I've heard)
