Only I'm not obese :(

GurS 10-20-2006 11:26 AM

Michael Myers wasn't obese - you may be thinking of Michael Moore?

Michael Myers was the bad guy from the "Halloween" movies, unless I'm mistaken (which is likely)

Jev 10-20-2006 11:31 AM

Oh yeah
Good idea.

ChodaBoy 10-20-2006 11:46 AM

Nobody deserves to be Michael Moore, its the worst punishment around

"why?"
"because im doing to many and i cant coap with uni....."
"oh ok, well you cant"
"why?"
"we need you on"
"so, my work is more imporant, i need to do it properly"
"do it in your free time"
"i have no free time"
"after christmas i could drop you an hour or two"
" "
/me walks off.

/me looks into the future.

/me walks into morrisons tomorrow and hands in my notice.

2muchket! 10-20-2006 01:01 PM

The bell end. You should write a letter of complaint OR do what Joe Strummer did when he got refused less hours at morrisons

Thats right you are thinking what II'm thinking

Untitled 10-20-2006 01:04 PM

What did joe strummer do?

Im gonna go into personel tomorrow and see what they say, if they say the same, im handing in my notice, then this time next week i will be jobless, which sucks, coz i realy need the money, bad.

trysthedrummer 10-20-2006 01:13 PM

Thats bloody stupid. Uni is more important. They can't expect you to work all the time at crappy morrisons and fail with your work.

Tell em tough shit.

Joe Strummer formed The Clash

Untitled 10-20-2006 01:17 PM

I tried explaining that to her, but her being dept manager, she clearly has nothing more important in life and dosnt understand that its impossable for me to carry on doing it, shes fuking dence.

Im gonna go to personel and say "cut my hours or i go..."

Theres no way at all i can carry on like this.

2muchket! 10-20-2006 01:25 PM

Untitled 10-20-2006 06:09 PM

Hello there.

I guess everyone has lives today.

Im going to go to bed shortly i think.

GurS 10-20-2006 06:12 PM

I don't have lives, I have a TV, sky + and a mate who's on "Make me a supermodel" on Five.

Untitled 10-20-2006 06:14 PM

Haha.

Im just toying with the idea of buying a realy cheap guitart, for about £100, routing out the back, buying realy cheap effects pedels, and pulling them apart and puting them inside of the guitar, i dunno though, itll cost about £200 in total.

ChodaBoy 10-20-2006 06:15 PM

We got a new tv tonight, so I keep climbing in the box

Plus, when I kick the polystyrene it makes the coolest noise ever

ChodaBoy 10-20-2006 06:18 PM

Nah, I say its rediculous that you do it for an art course

Untitled 10-20-2006 06:24 PM

Its not, we're being artisitic.

Howmany people do you know would make a tree dress out of nothing but cardboard????

I'm doing something like that, but I'm actually gonna make it good and stuff (in terms of better spec hardware & electronics), and i've budgeted it at around 600 (with a 15 quid tremolo effect).

I'm buying it all new, new body, new neck, new pickups, new knobs, bridges, nuts, machine heads, everything. Of course, knowing me, it'll probably never happen :p

BUT I would suggest you go for like a squier or something where, under the pick up, there's just one large oblong cavity, rather than sperate ones for each pickup. It'll save you having to route out extra space. Beware, though, not all fenders have 1 large cavity/.

Well if i get a squire, itll be a tele, just because theres more space in the back, if i got a strat id have to contend with the tremalo.

Im only doing it with a squire, if i get around to it, because 1) im not a serious guitar player anyway, just sumet to piss about and experiment on, and 2) its just for me to experiment, if it goes drasticaly wrong, i will of lost a fiar lot of money, but not too much i guess, welll £200 i have figured, still a lot.

Good stuff

Although, I worked out that just the neck & body was like cheaper than a fully-kitted out strat (but that doesn't take into account the hardware, so it's probably more expensive overall)
