Oh dear :(

Let's Chop Cats! 11-26-2005 05:34 PM

Chris you have turned to the dark side.

cbmartinez 11-26-2005 05:57 PM

SOAD will always be one of my favorite bands. They're the band that got me into heavy music and they've put out some of the best albums of the past few years.

BuddyBigsby 11-26-2005 08:27 PM

lol
I can't go either, it's on a wednsday, so my parents won't let me go.
Mine was on a thursday. I bought tickets and told my parents, but they said i had to be home at 830. So i missed Saves The Day and Emanuel. I was so mad.

Floydfanatic 11-26-2005 10:10 PM

why didn't you just "get really lost" on your way home??

Let's Chop Cats! 11-26-2005 10:14 PM

Why didn't you just stay at the show and take the weeks grounding.

It would've been worth it.

I hope Saves The Day come to Australia.

NewKindofArmy03 11-26-2005 10:59 PM

Haha, you reccomended At Your Funeral. I can't stand that song.

My band tore it up tonight.

TakeWarning 11-26-2005 11:04 PM

The first time I heard At Your Funeral I was like "Ewww" becuase of the vocals, but then when that catchy guitar riff kicked in I couldn't help but like it.

And that, children, is how I fell in love with Saves The Day.

cbmartinez 11-26-2005 11:13 PM

I got Through Being Cool along with Tell All Your Friends for free from my friend in 8th grade. At first, I despised Saves The Day. Listened to it again that summer and fell in love.

TakeWarning 11-26-2005 11:15 PM

I hated them too at first, the third time I checked them was when I started liking them.

Mute Print 11-26-2005 11:16 PM

I borrowed In Reverie and Through Being Cool from my local library a couple years ago. I wasn't really into them at the time, but I burned copies of them anyway. Now I love them.

cbmartinez 11-26-2005 11:18 PM

I bought Full Collapse the same weekend. That was really an awesome weekend.

TakeWarning 11-26-2005 11:19 PM

I've got In Reverie but I haven't even listened to it yet.

Odd. The first time I listened to them, i was in mad love. First song I heard was Anywhere With You. I like In Reverie.

And I thought abuot staying at the show, but i guess it would have been a big punishment, and im a pushover/good boy.

AndreTheHyena 11-27-2005 01:22 AM

Despite being horribly ill with strepp throat or something, I went to the first show of the MPB/With Honor/MLIW tour tonight. Crazy ****.

This Is Hell - Tore it up
Distance - Meh, ridiculous Dramarama cover
MLIW - Absolutely amazing
With Honor - Didn't dig 'em at all
MPB - Good stuff.

I talked with Jeff from MLIW, asked him how it feels to write an anthem that will go down in the hardcore history books. Dude's a total pimp, and he dug my Hank Williams shirt. Now I go to bed.

full collapse owns. i remember when i first heard it, last year in 9th grade, i was blown away because all i had heard was that war all the time which i thought was really mediocre, and i could not understand all the hype surrounding the band. i was thoroughly schooled that day.

chips88 11-27-2005 10:38 AM

Dillinger Escape Plan ruled.

best part of the show was when Horse was playing, and some kid was like "play cutsman!", and the vocalist was like "We don't play Dead to Fall covers". He was soooo wasted.

Someone link me to hoodies that I can buy of one of the bands I like. I already have a Bane one.

cbmartinez 11-27-2005 11:50 AM

CAN YOU HELP ME TEAR DOWN THESE WALLS

Verse is awesome. I need more stuff by them. Career Suicide is also awesome.

cbmartinez 11-27-2005 11:56 AM

TRAPPED IN THE CELL OF A 9 TO 5 CAN THEY EVER SAY THAT THEY'RE REALLY ALIVE

I need more.

DOLEMITE 11-27-2005 12:03 PM

   Same thing happened at the show I went to. Also when HORSE first came out the keyboardist said, "no cussing tonight my mom is here". Anyways Dillinger owned the night.

My friend saw them and said they were pretty good. You might want to get a few more opinions.

victimofreality 11-27-2005 02:20 PM
I don't think they mean what they sing. I think they're just in it for popularity.
I'm sure he's at home crying right now about a 10 year old questioning his motives.

victimofreality 11-27-2005 02:22 PM
The breakdown at the end of "Percent" pwns though. I can't wait for the split with Static Revolution.
I especially love how they are actually singing about things other than straight edge, meaning they will probably last more than 2 albums.
