40 oz 2 freedom 11-28-2004 08:50 PM

I don't know, maybe it's just because I've heard so much about them, so I expected more.

NewKindofArmy03 11-28-2004 09:14 PM

A lot of people don't like them, I think the stuff I have is really good though.

Let's Chop Cats! 11-28-2004 09:24 PM

The EP is better than the full length.

NewKindofArmy03 11-28-2004 09:29 PM

I'm downloading about everything you have by them.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 11-28-2004 09:40 PM

I like the full length better. Perfect Stance and When Will We Learn are the best songs.

Let's Chop Cats! 11-28-2004 09:42 PM
I'm downloading about everything you have by them.
Yeah I'm getting FBC off you.

I have the full length and the EP, that one track listed (demo) is the same as the one from the full length I just added that so I knew which file went to which album. Also all the Id3 tags should be perfect.

NewKindofArmy03 11-28-2004 09:47 PM

I've been playing the FBC song Apocalypse nonstop today.

BuddyBigsby 11-29-2004 02:54 AM

I've been playing the FBC album nonstop this past month and a half.

Alright maybe somebody posted this in one of the 200 and some pages but i dont feel like looking through all of them. Anyway can someone tell me what is the deal with the "hardcore kid" look. i.e. guys wearing girls pants and such. It blows my mind. Ive never really got into hardcore stuff. All it is to me is Slayer singing about their girlfriends. But hey to each his own.

There aren't a lot of hardcore bands who sing about their girlfriends most of the time. Some have a few songs like that though.

The girl pants thing is just fashion. Like punks with mohawks...except with girl's pants...

4. Bane - Ante Up
5. Give Up The Ghost - Crimescene
6. Faded Grey - Makeshift Family
7. Reaching Forward - In Your Eyes
8. Carry On - Off My Chest
9. With Honor - Perfect Stance
10. Miles Between Us - Ours To Reclaim
11. Afterlife - Allstars
12. In My Eyes - Making Sense
13. Champion - Is Anybody There (Alone In A Crowd cover)
14. Final Fight - My Life
15. Down To Nothing - Save It For The Birds
16. Bones Brigade - Jocks On Wheels
17. Blood For Blood - Ain't Like You (Wasted Youth II)
18. Blacklisted - Back And Forth
19. No Warning - Wrong Again
20. Every Time I Die - Romeo A Go-Go
21. The Distance - Get Fucked
22. Barricade - Let Me Go
23. The Hope Conspiracy - Youth And It's Burden
24. Trial - Reflections
25. Sick Of It All - This Day And Age
26. Slumlords - Trial By Fire
27. Outbreak - Out(break)tro
28. Mental - Heads Or Tails
29. Cops And Robbers - Execution Style
30. Righteous Jams - Invasion/Scream and Shout

40 oz 2 freedom 11-29-2004 10:34 PM

Invasion used to be this band, but now we're playin' Righteous Jams!

A-Life-Less-Plagued 11-29-2004 10:39 PM

Righteous Jams aren't playing the Miles Between Us reunion any more :(

40 oz 2 freedom 11-29-2004 10:56 PM

They are playing the 30th with Mental.

ph0bia 11-30-2004 01:01 AM

That would be a really good comp, add one of american nightmares old songs. AM/PM would be good.

capri sun junkie 11-30-2004 01:13 AM

Good avatar sir.
Straight up hardcore ain't that interesting. I have enjoyed Casey Jones and Champion but when it comes down to it I need some spruced up melody or technicality to flavor it. Like Shai Hulud. That is neat as all hell.
Werd, Ive been working on tabbing out their latest cd "That within ill blood tempered"

Shai hulud is probably my favorite hardcore band.

BuddyBigsby 11-30-2004 02:20 AM

Quick review of tonight's All Else Failed / Ed Gein show:

10 kids on the floor by the time AEF played. God, I hate SoCal kids sometimes. I was the only one that knew who they were and sang along, or moved for that matter. I was definitely that guy. Ed Gein at least got some decent reception. Kids better start listening to them by the time they come back next month with The Minor Times, or else...

Malice 11-30-2004 02:40 AM

Hey, I was just wondering what genre CKY fitted into?
I have no idea where to post this, I just thought the Hardcore education bit fitted appropriatly (sp).

BuddyBigsby 11-30-2004 02:45 AM

Really bad hard rock.

Malice 11-30-2004 02:46 AM

Right, thanks!

No seriously, what genre?

BuddyBigsby 11-30-2004 02:48 AM

Seriously. They are hard rock, and they suck at it.

tornpictures 11-30-2004 02:54 AM

Bring on the Hot Topic nu-metal kids!

It's good to see Ed Gein getting such a good response these days.
They totally deserve it.

Malice 11-30-2004 02:54 AM

Right then. I'll think I'll leave it at that.

Thanks a bunch

Malice 11-30-2004 02:57 AM
Bring on the Hot Topic nu-metal kids!
Was that directed at me?

If it was,
a) I'm Australian, and we don't have Hot Topic in Australia
b) I like nu-metal a bit, so who cares?
c) Hey, how you doing?

ph0bia 11-30-2004 02:59 AM
