Great, it's been forever since Ulver released Shadows of the Sun. and Guapo sre also hell of a band. i have to check Miasma

Txus 04-07-2010 10:00 AM

Yeah, we need new Ulver so bad. Their new song is so ****ing good, really.

And the new Guapo is going to rule. I hope Mothlite release something new too.

rid 04-07-2010 12:27 PM

seeing ulver in a couple weeks.

and been saying people should check out the new kammerflimmer (wildling)... great stuff.

shortz 04-07-2010 05:37 PM

Nice, have fun. Ulver's pretty good, but I have to be in a certain mood to really enjoy them.

I have a question though, Zozobra: post-metal? Sludge? A little of column A, a little of column B?

Ventriloquist 04-07-2010 06:01 PM

sludge

NortherlyNanook 04-08-2010 08:49 PM

BTW, new The Ocean sucks, i am dissapointed with this album, lacks heavyness, lacks energy, such a lame one..

Txus 04-09-2010 09:54 AM

Yeah, I heard half of the album today (the new Ocean) and it was pretty bad.

Nepenthe 04-09-2010 09:57 AM

i never got into the ocean. that gybe press release is sweet.

shortz 04-09-2010 12:35 PM

Really? That's disappointing to hear, I really enjoyed Precambrian.

I still probably check it out though.

Epic Hardcore for fans of Envy, Mono, Mihai Edrisch, Heaven In Her Arms.

Free.

angelmk 05-02-2010 03:40 PM

new God is an Astronaut is such a lame one. quite borring, a dissaster. Age of the Fifth Sun was the only song that cought my attention. new At The Soundawn is very good. G.OD - Left For Dead is interesting post rock/metal , nothing new, but it is a refreshment of the scene. new Year Of No Light is excellent, love it. Your Ten Mofo are new to me, australian post rock, good one. Shapes Stars Make -These Mountains Are Safe is also worth trying

Scoot 05-02-2010 03:44 PM

The only GIAA I really like is Far From Refuge.

Txus 05-02-2010 03:46 PM

New Year Of No Light is so good. I didn't even miss the vocals.

not quite sure how this band isint selling out arenas

UrsusVeritas 05-02-2010 04:01 PM

ive been checking out some recommendations in here, they all seem to be this sleepy bs type of music....anyone have real prog ROCK suggestions? thanks.

UrsusVeritas 05-02-2010 04:02 PM

is post rock different from prog rock or something?

Scoot 05-02-2010 04:02 PM

They're pretty good.

And yeah, it's different in that it's not about changing time signatures every two seconds.

NortherlyNanook 05-02-2010 04:26 PM

ugh karnivool is terrible

i still want to listen to the new year of no light

Txus 05-02-2010 04:41 PM

Karnivool are pretty bad, yes.

Prog rock has nothing to do with Post Rock either.

angelmk 05-02-2010 05:24 PM

Post rock is different than Prog, but there are prog elements in post rock..sometimes
