i bought follow the reaper today, decent album. but the vocals are too raspy, alexi sounds way better on hatebreeder. alexander shreds like a mofo the whole time though. who else shreds like him?

Whatever this time may be for you..I just stayed up all night (tis now 8:20am) writing an essay, which I have to go hand in in about half an hour. I think I might have left it a bit late.

It is 1:18 am here, no school today, so I am not worried about sleep right now, I have later for that, playing guitar right now.

Sounds good. I don't have anything else today, other than handing in this essay, thankfully. Hopefully a DVD I have on order will arrive in the mail, so once I get back in I can go to sleep, then wake up tonight and spend all night watching it.

I'll try and sort out my sleep patterns over the weekend, maybe.

Whatever comes on the playlist, either improving or tabbing out as I go mostly. Ear training basically. That should be sweet though, my laptop has a 17" screen so I just watch DVDs on it, but I wish I had a TV sometimes too...

Well yeah, I'll be watching on my computer. I am a student living away from home, after all. Even if I had a TV, I'd probably watch it on the computer, so I could be online at the same time.

Alexander does not play any solos on any album, he was just the rhythm player during solos and lead during certain parts of songs. Alexi plays all the solos and the occasional lead part for a harmony with the other guitar.

I had two exams back to back, ugh. Failed the first one, but I did well (I think) on the second. Only a week until the major ones though, :(

That sucks about the exams...

Though I am going to have to deal with them in about a year when i start college my self. But I still have alot time to not worry about exams, which is a good thing.

What are you going to study? I'm doing a BSc. Majoring in Bio-chem.

I really don't know right now exactly. My high school was extremely poor and had hardly any good/interesting elective classes to take, so I never got a firm grip of an idea of what I may want to study. Except for graphics art, I was in that class for my first 2 years of high school then they cut the program. I was mad, since at the time that was the only thing I was interested/good at...

So I am thinking graphics art as an idea, and study music such as theory and stuff as another idea...
