Oh yeah. I missed that though, the only dates i could get to were 7th and 8th. 7th I was at Greenday (shudder) and 8th i had no money for. |
So does anyone know when the Gigantour tickets will be available for Vancouver???
|
I got V.I.P. tickets bitches :thumb:
|
Ah, only fifteen more days, and I'm going to be headbanging to Dream Theater and Megadeth. With such diversity of band on the Gigantour, I wonder what bands Mustaine will chose for next year.
|
one thing I like about megadeth is dave sings different than most metal singers
I just learned how to play die dead enough so yay |

I just learned how to play die dead enough so yay
That's one of the reasons why people hate Megadeth, they hear his voice and just assume it's crap without giving it a try. At first I thought he was a crappy singer but his voice grew on me. |
For some strange reason I've always loved Dave's voice
|
I just thought his voice was funny, so I didn't take them seriously, but when I actually listened to them, I was amazed by their talent nd his unique voice.
|
yea its like Cob (even though these two bands dont sound anything alike) both bands have horrible vocals but great music. what got me into megadeth is the cryptic writings. i kno its not there best album but the first 5 songs are great on that album.

I didn't always like it, but now I love it. Somehow it just.... works. |
For some strange reason I've always loved Dave's voice
Yeah same here. |
The first song I heard by megadeth was holy wars, and that song definately wouldn't have worked as well with any other voice.. That might be why I've always loved it

The first one I heard was Hangar 18, which was years ago, but never gave it a chance or listened to it more than twice and then deleted it. Then when I was into metal a little more I heard Peace Sells then Holy Wars, and liked it. :thumb: |
First one I heard was Sweating Bullets. I didn't really like that song at first but then I heard Dread and the Fugitive Mind and I started to give them a chance.

Anyone listen to the radio interview that's posted on gigantour.com?
It's really cool. Dave rules. |

Rust In Peace....Polaris for me. Amazing song. Still one of my favorites, very underrated. |
Yeah I listened to it. He's great at guitar, and he might be cool every now and then. But he's still kind of an ass.
|
Why won't Gigantour play England, or anywhere in Europe for that fact? It's not fair
In the interview he said it's because European tours and North American ones are a little different, and some times North American ones don't do to well in Europe. He used Ozzfest as an example. |
Listening to that interview now actually...
Social lubricant    |
Greenday over Megadeth?
What the hell were you thinking?
Just seeing Green Day without missing Megadeth is pretty stupid. |
Greenday over Megadeth?
What the hell were you thinking?
I bought GD tickets before Megadeth was announced. |
Is there anywhere i can find a copy of the interview to give it a listen?
If I can get a lift, I'm going to Gigantour a week from Saturday!
Hell, I should just start walking there now, I can make it. |
Check out a bus schedule man.
