I just learned a motion to sustain 32nds at 70 BPM with one hand

Before someone says "What a waste!" I came upon the movement on accident

Josiah 05-03-2006 12:31 PM

I dunno about that one.. that would mean you could play single stroked 32nds at 140, wich would put you in the best of the best in the world.

Futuro 05-03-2006 12:37 PM

Broken Metronome?

Haha I cant do it with my left hand.

Josiah 05-03-2006 12:48 PM

Haha well what's sustained? I can do that for like a bar...

Your "speed" is what you can control around the set, at all dynamic levels and clean of course.

Futuro 05-03-2006 12:50 PM

Well I can hold it for a while. I cant move it around at all. Your making it seem like I am bragging that I can do it. Trust me im not.

:-)

Josiah 05-03-2006 01:05 PM

Oh trust me, You think you can groove good now? Psh... Once you pull the lower lip up, you will be Grooving hard enough to impregnate David Copperfield.

what'd you buy??

Janeway 05-03-2006 01:35 PM

If I have kids and they aren't sweet, blonde-haired, blue-eyed dolls, they're going up for adoption. If am so lucky to be graced with children like that, they damn well aren't going to public school and I will damn well smack the stupid out of them.
I got this book yesterday called Tea. It's about this chick whose mother kills herself and she spends her life pondering that while dating a bunch of chicks. It really doesn't have a plot...it's boring. It was boring when I started it, and about 100 pages in I realized it would continue to be boring. Of course, I can't quit, because that would be intelligent.
Um...my point...now.
I wanted to get it over with so I decided to read it on the bus. I'm sitting there minding my own business as the little kids got on, and this stupid god damn 5th grader plops her ass next to me. She can't be bothered to take her fricken' back pack off, so she takes up 3/4ths of the seat. Whatever. I'm fine. Then her stupid little 'friends' come and sit in the surrounding seats. They sat there and degraded the stupid little twat to tears, and then they started questioning me about my book.
I hate a lot of things, but there is nothing I loathe more than people who ask me questions about the book I'm reading, and having little kids do it makes me all the angrier...

Actually, nothing really signifigant happened...at all.
Type type type. I hate this keyboard.

Yeah...nothing pisses me off more than that. When ever I see a group of little kids doing that, I usually yell at them, hah.

Janeway 05-03-2006 01:47 PM

Ugh. If I were to yell at them, they'd tell their parents and I'd be crucified for influencing them under my immoral ways.

Janeway 05-03-2006 01:51 PM

WHAT THE HELL?!
Why the hell is there some black chick dancing on my monitor when I play videos??

Why, for telling them to stop being cruel to each other? The kids wouldn't necessarily know you were a lesbian.

Janeway 05-03-2006 02:12 PM

No. Not for that.
Their parents all have the "Oh my god, my little baby would never do that. They're perfect, you're a lying sack, you need to get help, and I'm the best parent in the world," syndrome.
And you know, me yelling at them would be the end of the world.
They don't even punish their kids.
They get their iPod taken away for a day, but their daddy feels bad and gives them and extra piece of cake for dinner and $50 the next morning.

My parents were never like that.

I used to be fucking...tormented, so I usually stick up for kids.

The Ska Man 05-03-2006 02:22 PM

Hey, I know someone around here(Damo I think? I forgot..) ordered a custom Sonor which seemed pretty sweet. Any word on that?

Janeway 05-03-2006 02:37 PM

I was sadly oblivious to a lot of people's shaming of me, thankfully or unthankfully.

I'm leaving for my annual SHIP convention tomorrow.
The hotel is in a shady part of the town. I'm thinking about seeing if I can get some weed. I don't really know how to roll joints and I've only smoked once or twice, though...
Hmm...

Jezen 05-03-2006 02:47 PM

Wow. I have students now...

Josiah 05-03-2006 02:54 PM

Now that's scary.

Corkofski 05-03-2006 02:59 PM
