yeah its fun to categorize people based on their clothes!
clothing is a reflection of personality

McP3000 10-16-2008 09:49 AM

and we should ruthlessly persecute those who have bad senses of personality

Kage 10-16-2008 09:58 AM
clothing is a reflection of personality
sure it can be, but im more referring to the absurdity of categorizing people

RouteOne 10-16-2008 09:59 AM

all people can be categorized though. Its inevitable that we fall into categories.

Kage 10-16-2008 10:00 AM

no, see, it's really not. that's entirely a societal delusion

and a self-fulfilling one i might add

Pete 10-16-2008 10:30 AM

challenge the stereotypes! wear your tie around your head!

Kage 10-16-2008 10:33 AM

Nostalgia 10-16-2008 11:27 AM

so last night i was hanging out with this girl and ever since then i can't find my ipod. I had it in my car with me and stuff... I wonder how long I should look until I start accusing her of being a thief.
i love kittens
I tried to catch a kitten at work the other day but I couldn't :(

Whitechapel447 10-16-2008 11:34 AM

wtf? cats i can understand, but kittens can't run fast or climb trees. they're pretty much defenseless.

Undomeistar 10-16-2008 11:35 AM

This one was v fast.

repcak 10-16-2008 12:10 PM

i thought this one girl ganked my ipod for like 2 weeks, then i found it in the cracks of my couch lol

then i left my driver's side window open and some jackass broke in through my passenger's side window to gank it for real months later :(

Nostalgia 10-16-2008 01:38 PM

How was your show dude!

hismajestythepope 10-16-2008 01:41 PM

pretty ****ing lol.

okay there were two shows at the venue, so kids just walking down the street were like OH BAND WITH HOT CHICKS OR BAND WITH HUGE BEARDS basically

upstairs was like, hawthorneheightsthursdayripoffmarathon, downstairs was like, 3 of the national bands dropped off (a different breed of killer, with faith or flames, and flatline), and two of the local bands dropped off as well. the turnout all in all was like 30 kids, and half of them left after our set (we played first even though we were assured before hand we'd go on right before a different breed of killer ), and well, each band, less and less kids were there, so by the time becoming the archetype went on there were like 10 kids in the basement lol.

we went to the upstairs show, and lol. so bad. so so bad. singer in the band was like, girating his hips.

Nostalgia 10-16-2008 01:48 PM

Dude that sounds like a mess, haha.

beans 10-16-2008 01:52 PM

sounds like a gay show, i know how those 30 kid turnouts go though. sometimes (depending on the band) its fun

Jev 10-16-2008 02:27 PM

Lowest amount I've had watching my band is 6 people. :-/

you are male

you enjoy music

you are a human being

you like food

all categories you fall into etc etc etc

also, to say there are no categories to which we can put people into is to say that there is no kind of conformity at all present in human nature, which is totally false. Everyone conforms. Even the "non-conformists".

categorizing people?

not rly.

perceptually, because of the huge amount of information we see at any given instance, we naturally identify patterns and trends and group them in our minds to classify and judge. The human brain is like the most advanced DSP chip ever.

Angmar 10-16-2008 05:25 PM

geeze that was uncalled for
