I just use blogs for underground stuff and http://www.psychocydd.co.uk/ for torrents.

i can ususally find 90% what i want on blogs, and if i cant find them, i ask for it from people on last.fm

last.fm is my last, last resort

only when I get in those obsessive discography collecting moods. first stop is usually waffles.fm and what.cd, then blogs, then slsk, and it usually ends there. I might try emule as a last resort (never underrate this as a resource, guys), then see how much it'll cost to actually buy the fucking thing via ebay, amazon and discogs.

begging for links on last.fm comes after that

How come when people talk about Dimmu Borgir they never mention the great older stuff? (I'm not talking about around here. I've seen it mentioned in some older posts, I think.) The video for In Death's Embrace, live at Dynamo, 1998 is like the greatest thing I've ever seen. Shagrath is so on fire. Would make me like to just tear out my heart and offer it to him. Also love everything recorded in Poland that year, and, Koln in 97.

Dimmu Borgir is the only band I can quite tolerate doing a symphonic style in Black Metal. I put them down in my own head a lot, lol, before I realized that 'Shagrath from Dimmu is that awesome guy in Fimbulwinter', hee. (Shagrath is a really hot guy who goes way out of his way to appear less attractive. (?) Sigh, like, ok, whatever, eeh. I just don't get it.) Anyway, was a Fimbulwinter fan for quite a while, but, never really gave Dimmu a chance. I would never put them down, now that I've seen them. They awesome to behold.

I'm not really into symphonic black metal and stuff. Never really looked into the old Dimmu Borgir material, though.

yeah that's funny bc with blogs it's actually harder to find the bigger more popular albums bc of all those FREE MP3 DOWNLOAD sites. i eventually found it just had to dig through like 10 pages of whatever the fuck all of those sites are.
