I could never get into cricket. Waiting around for a day in long pants for someone to hit a ball to me isn't exactly my ideal weekend plan.

But :-* regardless.

Untitled 11-08-2006 04:56 AM

Thats what i like about it, just stand there, doing nothing and your an athlete :D

Or my team was like that.

I gotta go babysit. byes.

Dinosawesome 11-08-2006 04:59 AM

I'd rep you for that comment but apparently I've given out too much in the last 24hrs.

Ross 11-08-2006 05:12 AM

Word homies.

So, I just discovered how to rep people. Now I feel completely retarded for missing it before :upset:

Oh, and I got the job at WH Smiths. Whoo for stationary and magazines!

Untitled 11-08-2006 07:26 AM

Good Game.

I still want a new job, mainly because i want to die my hair bright red and i cant at morrisons because they'll moan and i cant be arsed with the hassle.

My mate from work told me to just put my CV on monster, and they'll email you jobs and stuff if you put where you went a job and what type. I mght do it.

I do this every day.

I don't know, I never disliked you.

Half the people who post in here now are dumb as fuck anyways.

I don't mean new people either, I just mean people got stupid and cool people stopped posting.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-08-2006 03:07 PM

cbmartinez 11-08-2006 03:14 PM

Man, thank god the democrats are going to take control of Congress.

B 11-08-2006 03:26 PM

Yeah we talked about the election for an hour in my American History class.

Hopefully things improve.

cbmartinez 11-08-2006 04:42 PM

The legalize marijuana intiative got defeated. :(

B 11-08-2006 05:41 PM

With the Conservatives in power here we won't be seeing that any time soon either.

You pretty much get a smack on the wrist here anyways. Plus only dumb people get caught, unless you get ratted on. In which case beats all around anyways.

something vague 11-08-2006 05:51 PM

B 11-08-2006 06:15 PM

taaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkeeeeeeeee ooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnn meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I have to go to the store to buy smokes but I don't know if my friend/aquaintence (how the **** do you spell that) is working to sell them.

Give me viable suggestions.

Kif 11-08-2006 06:20 PM

So it took me like, 5 years, and I downloaded the first disc of Alias. It's kinda cool, so I guess I'll be wasting about 20 more DVD-Rs on this show. I also got Strangers With Candy, purely because Stephen Colbert is in it. Should be fun to watch.

Now, I am very tired, so I'll be listening to the new Dustin Kensrue CD in bed, and that's pretty much it.

Have you listened to the CD before?

Is it similar to anything I might know?

I can't imagine it'd be very exciting seeing as I don't like any of Thrice's slower music but eh we'll see I guess.

MattSharpIsCool 11-08-2006 09:59 PM

So I bought "Breakfast at Tiffany's" today.

If any of you make fun of me for it, I will fight you.

That movie is cool.

And I would do Audrey Hepburn.

Except she is now dead.

I just took that Advanced Global Personality Test, and my results pretty much told me im some sort of selfless robot.

heh. pretty much.

cobert 11-08-2006 11:14 PM

Now you see, mine was the complete opposite.
social, outgoing, worry free, optimistic, upbeat, tough, likes large parties, makes friends easily, rarely irritated, open, enjoys leadership, trusting, dominant, thrill seeker, strong, does not like to be alone, assertive, mind over heart, confident, controlling, feels desirable, likes the spotlight, loves food, social chameleon, hard working, concerned about others
But I dont think some of these were right since their respective trait things were at like, 30%, like the spotlight one, and narcissism was only 43%, and the same for need to dominate, but that makes it seem so much higher.

My accomodation was at 83%, but avoidant was at 70%, which is why I called myself a selfless robot.

I guess its kind of right though. I get along with pretty much everyone, I care about people, and im pretty solid emotionally and I dont get pissed, but tahts only because im kind of cold or numb when it comes to expressing my feelings verbally. And i can see the 70% avoidant part, where it says about disliking being touched and being somewhat asexual.

My traits were also opposite to what it said, but what it said is quite accurate. Perhaps the traits percentages are backwards, oe something.

cobert 11-08-2006 11:21 PM

Naw, they seemed about right, remembering how I answered and knowing who I am. Just 2 or 3 parts of description at the end were just a bit off. Pretty accurate though.

B 11-08-2006 11:22 PM

Nah I meant like the whole percentage thing. Everything it actually said in the following stuff was accurate, but the percentage thingy and what it said seemed very contradictive.

cobert 11-08-2006 11:24 PM

Maybe just a litte bit, because my extraversion was at a 63, and that resembles the description at the end.

B 11-08-2006 11:26 PM

It's odd how that test can actually read you. Although the type of questions pretty much give them direct answers I suppose.

It basically tells you what you tell it.

cobert 11-08-2006 11:30 PM

Yeah, but it puts it into better perspective.

B 11-08-2006 11:34 PM

Yeah for sure.

Although, i knew exactly what it was going to tell me before it did. If only because I've taken it before. I just wanted to see if anything would be different.

meh, less accurate than when i've done it in the past, i'm a tad too happy to be brutally honest and negative or something today

social, outgoing, worry free, optimistic, upbeat, tough, likes large parties, makes friends easily, rarely irritated, open, enjoys leadership, trusting, dominant, thrill seeker, strong, does not like to be alone, assertive, mind over heart, confident, controlling, feels desirable, likes the spotlight, loves food, social chameleon, hard working, concerned about others

The bolded ones I might take issue with. I don't think the word "tough" has ever been used to describe me, I'm a huge chicken weenie, and even though I love partying and people I still generally prefer to be on my own.

On a different subject, I'm such a terrible American. I turn 20 on Friday and I'm not registered to vote. I didn't even know what this election was for until this afternoon!

Permanent Solution 11-09-2006 01:17 AM

Wow, that's terrible Joel :-\

Voter turnout was like 40%, that's huge. And Democrats took over :D

PDWAB 11-09-2006 01:23 AM

Man I got too much going on to be educated enough where I might actually have the knowledge to make an educated vote.

Conversations I had today:

Person: Hey Joel, did you vote?

Me: There was an election?

Person: Are you even registered?

Me: No?

Person: Well have you heard that the Democrats have taken control of the House?

Me: The who's have taken over the what??

Permanent Solution 11-09-2006 01:39 AM

pfft.

musicians. no offense but i'm almost positive i could have that exact same conversation with people if i walked over to the music school. my favorite is still the "oh man, i think i'll have to cancel my lesson tomorrow." "why?" "well i have a six page paper due monday." "that's like 4 days away still..." "yeah i know, jeez, i hope i have enough time, maybe i should skip class too..."

Concubine 11-09-2006 01:58 AM

i took that test.

introverted, irritable, feels invisible, observer, depressed, does not enjoy leadership, reveals little about self, dislikes large parties, feels undesirable, does not like to stand out, submissive, suspicious, emotionally sensitive, not a thrill seeker, solitude loving, likes silence, fragile, second guesses self, negative, unadventurous, fearful, weird, focuses on people's hidden motives, paranoid, phobic, dependent, cautious, avoidant, semi intellectual

weird, most of them are true :/
