truth |
I have tried steve, throughout my life I've always had a few friends or acquantances
and how am I insecure, I have all the security I need. |
brent isn't that much different from me really in this regard
I guess he just comes off as lamer for some reason |
yeah, I'm the same way
I know a lot of people but I only really have a few friends but i love chilling with people and going to parties |
this forum sucks when there isnt drama
|
I come off as lame because I don't attempt to go out or fit in or loosen up by drinking
|
I would pay to hang with a drunk Brent no doubt.
|
I think we're all the same way. I don't have like a large group of friends, I have just multiple good friends that I see frequently. Most the time we don't hang out collectively unless we go skating like we did last night.
|
I used to, then stuff happened and just lost contact with everyone then eventually will and desire to live but I bounced back.
Could probably get back into that lifestyle if I wanted, but i'm happy just working on my career and earning money at the moment.
I come off as lame because I don't attempt to go out or fit in or loosen up by drinking
It's not about drinking. I know people who don't drink who fit in and loosen up in social situations easily enough. |
I gots my close bros and thats all I really need.
Have made a few new friends at uni though which is cool. And I've stopped drinking really. used to drink nearly every night about 2 years ago. |
Give me some opiates and I'll make friends with anyone.
|
I come off as lame because I don't attempt to go out or fit in or loosen up by drinking
I don't try to fit in either but i like going out and i love drinking, i don't do it to fit in you just need to stop being like LOL FRIENDS LOL DRINKING LOL DRUGS LOL SOCIAL LIFE and you wouldn't be such a tool |
I know people who don't drink who fit in and loosen up in social situations easily enough.
I just don't care honestly, being around social environments is not my idea of a fun time. I am not talkative around people I don't know because I have no reason to be. I don't have any social problems, if any of you guys ever meet me irl you'll see |
Reminds me of my good friend at work. ALL DAY we work together he'll bitch about cell phones, women, and how everyone is so superficial for going to bars and socializing in groups. He says he's happy with going home every night and drinking till he passes out, but for some reason if people drink collectively it;s stupid. I used to be like that sort of, but since I've heard it repeated constantly I've realized how stupid it all is.
|
lol this whole internet drama with this scene queen is providing the late night funnies.

Ugh, I hate drinking by myself, it's just way too depressing. |
Usually the people I work or study with are enough to keep me social, I rarely hang around with anyone outside of this though.
I have a small collective of friends, most of them bore me to tears to be around cause they just get drunk and complain about not getting any women so I don't see them often. I like my solitude, could do with a girlfriend maybe but there are definite downsides to that plus I get sex regularly enough to not really want to bother pursuing it at this point in my life. |

replace drinking/passing out w/ internet and you have me |
I have a lot of friends I guess, but only some of them are what I would call close, like not really the kind of people I would invite to hang out in a small group but would have over for a party or something.
Then there's my old friends from my home town who I see a lot of in the summer time and really trust these days. |

I've been called unsocial lately just because I've gotten too used to haveing my own quiet time so I'm making more of an effort to see friends and such. |
introverts vs. extroverts
itt |
I guess I feel there's only so much entertainment I can get sitting in front of a computer, going out and doing stuff is in the end more satisfying and productive.
|
opposite for me
internet - endless possibilites irl = boring and dull, not satisfying seeing how depressing and fat everyone looks |
See to me that's just a mind blowing train of thought lol.
|
some people are energised by social interactions, some people are energised by quiet time spent alone reading a book
personally, a bit of both are essential for me but i'm more of the latter |
some people are energised by social interactions,
- extrovert some people are energised by quiet time spent alone reading a book - introvert this is not a difficult concept |
Cool Vocab Bro
