Is that snare worth 2k?[/QUOTE]

I'd buy it, if it was deeper.

the_pure_drummer 04-01-2007 03:19 PM

Ill go deeper ;)

Futuro 04-01-2007 03:38 PM

the_pure_drummer 04-01-2007 03:52 PM

ahhhh sorry i just saw he made the thread!

Berk 04-01-2007 03:59 PM

So I might drop the two rack tom set-up for my next kit.
Im also thinking of getting a 9"x14" snare.

Futuro 04-01-2007 04:00 PM

I have a 10 x 14 and honestly its the least versatile snare ever. You get one sound. BOOOOOOOOM.

I would sell it but its an old Gretsch and I like old drums...?

the_pure_drummer 04-01-2007 04:01 PM

down your stairs......

Night everyone!

Pleaseme 04-01-2007 04:02 PM

I much prefer the dark style skin on this forum, to the crappy orange one. It's just tacky.

How many plies?

Its either that or 8"x14".

Pleaseme 04-01-2007 04:10 PM

I have a 14" x 3" steel piccalo snare by Performance Percussion, £50, and i swear it sounds amazing. Ghosts and rim shots like a bitch, and phenominal tone.

Berk 04-01-2007 04:15 PM

Jeeze. Epiarch putting out some NICE stuff.

FTW!

Futuro 04-01-2007 04:31 PM

its funny how small the 6.5 looks compared to the ten hahaha.

Ya het a nice workhorse snare first, then build the collection of odd snares here and there.

A higher grade maple 5x14 is what I use for my main snare.

Berk 04-01-2007 04:33 PM

Got any kit pics?

I dont think i've ever seen your kit?

I like posting audio. It doesnt matter what you play on, just what you play.

Snarz 04-01-2007 04:37 PM

What kind of kit do you have?

Nice epi right there.

Nowadays the TD20 hooked up to EZ drummer

. Ihave a had a few different acoustic kits (purple conaway, um Cheap no name drums, and some other one I sold) but they are too much of a hassle since I have been moving around alot.

So my friends got drunk last night. And I got to videotape it. :)

Some before/after shots of one friend. Before/after we covered 90% of his upper body in permanent marker, before/after he threw up all over himself and the bathroom, before/after he pissed his pants.

Quite sad, really. Yet still I was able to laugh at it. :(

I can smell black peoples chicken breath coming from a mile away.

Berk 04-01-2007 06:28 PM

I'd wear that around my neck.

The Chemist 04-01-2007 06:30 PM

that is a visual enema. DW pedals aren't the greatest, IMHO. Why would you pay a lot for a golden model of an already overpriced pedal? Yamaha FD ftw.
