I'm still thinking on extorting funds from christmas for a rig. Riding is too much fun.

Haha yeah man.

I only had a combo amp prior to that so I needed both.

I'm really close to pissing away like $200 on a really nice Analysis+ lead from that place.

da_s_man13 06-25-2009 01:39 AM

Having an awesome rig is funner :)

gaslight 06-25-2009 01:40 AM

First to see your new av.

And yeah man I dunno, can't you just save long enough and get both?

Oh I'm gonna get both eventually, but obviously I'm going to get one first. And after both an acoustic.

da_s_man13 06-25-2009 01:44 AM

Fark the acoustic, STACCCKKK!!!!!!

gaslight 06-25-2009 01:46 AM

Acoustic as in upright?

funkyhoney 06-25-2009 01:50 AM
Acoustic as in upright?
Nah, I played that game for a while, not for me. Acoustic bass guitar.

Just to kick around on when I go travelling/need to record something. I want just a cheap **** guitar to bash around on and write too. But that's all detail.

First things first, need a decent amp and want a bike.

funkyhoney 06-25-2009 01:51 AM

I do want to learn something else, other than guitar and bass. I really have no idea what. Trumpet, no doubt.

gaslight 06-25-2009 01:55 AM

I find playing guitar really rewarding. I sit and jam on that to no real end but I've gotten quite alright at it.

I'd love to get some drums one day.

I'd love to get an upright one day too if I can ever bring myself to really study and practise in depth on something again.

funkyhoney 06-25-2009 02:00 AM

I'm in that boat, maybe after I finish uni and legitimately have enough spare time I'll learn to play something like drums (again) or keys to an extent.

Until then I just need a new rig and I'm virtually set for the moment, depends where the band goes.

Anyway I'm off, going to see some aspiring playwrights work in town. So not me.

i havnt had internet for a week now. AT&T screwed up my order three times

and now i have a manager calling me personally and offering me free internet

awesome.

...if they can ever get it connected.

Epidemechanical 06-25-2009 08:30 AM

in my free time (jesus life with no internet for lonely introverts like me sucks) i've been re-doing all my old, old songs like this bloody business and this virus controls etc etc

but instead of re-writing them like ive done the other times i remixed them i kept them true to the original and ive recorded a lot of guitar now

:O

and i also did a song with just piano and me singing wtf im like sooooooo indie

fatbandit 06-25-2009 10:10 AM

He got there 15 minutes early, and we told him we were on our way.

We pay for a room, but its just our room - we can use it when we want.
I dont blame him for walking out 45mins into rehearsal tbh. I'd do the same thing. You guys pay for rehearsal?
I'd still kick your drummer in the head, like, buying pants? Really.

fatbandit 06-25-2009 10:31 AM

That too xD He always does stuff like that. Like 'I was just about to leave the house. Then I decided to have a shower'.

While his hygiene is commendable, I'm sure we could cope if he didn't shower for one day. Like he does anything that would make him sweat anyway.

New rig setup now though. WHEY! :)

FunkMetalBass 06-25-2009 11:05 AM

I'm still having troubles with my amp, which makes me sad.

Time to start looking into a new amp, help? pre/power/crossover or a regular bass amp?

I want to hear these.

fatbandit 06-25-2009 04:04 PM

But oh shi', bigger news. Just watched the news, and it said Michael Jackson died D:

gaslight 06-25-2009 06:32 PM

Yeah looks that way.

BenJammin 06-25-2009 06:36 PM

Meh.

Jimbobntnr 06-25-2009 06:54 PM

farah fawcett.
omg.

funkyhoney 06-25-2009 08:21 PM

I heard they're gonna melt down his body into toys so kids can play with him for a change.

gaslight 06-25-2009 08:25 PM

Nah man didn't you hear he was found not guilty.

It turned out that it was Qantas baggage handlers that had been putting little boys' dicks in his mouth.

/Whoever the bogan comedian is. Chris something?

Convectuoso 06-25-2009 10:01 PM

Chris Franklin?

gaslight 06-26-2009 12:25 AM

Yeah that's the one.

FunkMetalBass 06-26-2009 09:14 AM

If Justin Timberlake is crowned the new King of Pop, I'll resort to martyrdom.

Epidemechanical 06-26-2009 09:17 AM

whats wrong with JT? hes awesome

a very talented pop figure

FunkMetalBass 06-26-2009 09:21 AM

I can't look at him without laughing ever since "Dick in a Box" came out.

Plus, I think the entire hip-pop genre these days is terrible and I'd like to see something else become the popular musical style. Besides, in my opinion, Beyonce is more deserving of the Queen of Pop title.

Also, lol.
