I am really enjoying my four string again. I am set for basses (although I want to toss new pickups and a new pre amp into my four string), now I just need a decent amp.

I really like my yorkville 100w 1x15, but I would like something bigger. I would ideally like to get a yorkville head with an 2x10 avatar cab. That would work great for what I need. But I have no money.

My amp works great, it's just that i'm being picky about the tone.

I would like to have a little more punch too it. Say, a 2x12. That's probably what I am looking for.

Then again, I should really learn more about heads and cabs.

I almost pulled the trigger on a power amp/preamp and cab setup in the summer. But I chickened out at the last minute, I kind of wish that I would have done it.
