Its amazing, I'm loving it.

I got a Merit for my first 3 week project and I'm 2/3 through a Fine Art project at the moment

edit: Happy

the college day is 9-4.30, but 'coz I live an hour away the early start/late home is a bugger. My band is doing pretty well - we have 2 cds available (one demo and one rehersals) and have gigs coming up in the next few months.

ChodaBoy 10-12-2006 04:06 PM

Hey Brew, are the Voltage forums still going strong?

Seems you do things differently

We start off doing everything, like we spent 2 weeks doing drawing, this week we have been doing creative skills, they said there gonna teach us to come up with 100 ideas in a minute in our head by the end of the year, and i can feel my creativity rising now.

We dont specialise till term 2.

ChodaBoy 10-12-2006 04:10 PM

I dont understand how creativity can be taught, I thought it was something you either had - or didnt

We had a 3-week drawing project, now we're into 4 3-week option blocks, I'm two weeks into the Fine Art one and I have Graphics, Photomedia and Textiles left (the 3D group was full and the tutor is a git). We specialize more in Term 2 but we have to Pass each of the option blocks to get there.

Choda - I have no idea.

I think you do need it yes, but they show you techniques how to become more creative.

I dunno, its wierd, tis working though on me.

Brew, i dont get graded on anything till term 3, which is good, so i cant fail this one, woo.

That sounds pretty cool, though I guess being graded at the end of each option block kinda lets you know how you're getting on during the year.

We have workshops on Fridays called OCN Workshops, I'm currently doing a digital photography workshop which involves making the alphabet out of natural/man-made forms found in the environment, 'tis fun.

We have tutor review groups, its like 2 times per term, one on one with your tutor and they talk to you about what they like and stuff. Im not sure.

ChodaBoy 10-12-2006 04:51 PM

So today we went into Poundland, and I bought 4 small bottles of Irn Bru. I got dared to drink them all before next lesson (just over 5 minutes away), I drank 3 and a half before almost throwing up

I'm doing pretty well over here. College is going along, I've been writing lots of music... I'm really busy, but I'm still finding time to have a bit of fun.

Someone should find AJiG - I want to tell him how much I'm loving Opeth these days.

Jev 10-12-2006 05:11 PM

Yup, but if I need to I would have just gone to the toilet. I was only playing Quake in the lesson anyway

Auberge le Mouton Noir 10-12-2006 05:16 PM

Any of you guys playing BF2142 demo atm?

I'm not gonna vbuy it (BF2 reskinned ;)) but the demo is fun

Hi, Chris.

Jev 10-12-2006 05:21 PM

Isn't it safe to go back to the Moaner account yet?

Spectrum 10-12-2006 05:31 PM

Mexican Bandito 10-12-2006 05:31 PM

Drum Phil 10-12-2006 05:34 PM
