Yes, you are probably right about that. Also, I should know better than trying to post when I'm loaded, lol. Really, I guess I am just excited about having someone to talk to about music. I get a little tired of having to explain to people who Darkthrone is. I'm sure I will manage to chill out fairly soon. Ok, I thought Enslaved was pretty amazing when I saw them in Nov. Nachtmystium was so fantastic to, when they were here about a week ago. I don't think there are too many more good bands coming up here at the moment. I've been putting some effort into going to the live shows, lately. I think Belphegor is coming here soon, and Gehenna, but that's about it for a now unfortunately. I keep checking The List, though.

Yeah, I have that problem too often as well. Luckily the last couple of shows I've seen have been at The Regency Ballroom, and there is a way to get tickets for their gigs at the initial rate if you show up at The Warfield box office during one of their concerts, or on Sundays. So, have been fortunate that way, I guess, and if it's a good enough band I just make sure that a ticket is the first thing I buy on pay day.

There are not really many black metal bands that come to Philly except for the bigger groups which is kind of a bummer. We do have Woe and Infernal Stronghold shows quite often though which are always fun however.

Yes, it's kind of like that here to. Most of the shows are either Death metal or Doom Metal. If it's not Black Metal, I'd just as soon be looking for a Punk gig. Anyway, those shows I mentioned were with some more mainstream groups, to. Enslaved opened for Dimmu Borgir, and, Nachtmystium, for Cradle, but, by the time Cradle came on, I was still more all about getting to meet Blake Judd in the lobby.

I just watched a pretty good live video on YT of Infernal Stronghold. Not bad, actually. I take back what I said about Death Metal, though. I would go to a Death Metal concert, if it was the right band. I think Old Funeral sounded great, but I doubt I'll ever get to see them, of course. If I feel like I want to listen to a woman singing Extreme Metal I would almost have to go to a Death Metal show.

Hee, really? Well, I did admit, somewhere, that I mostly only know the kind of major stuff. I've heard some of the more obscure bands, but, I always seem to gravitate back to the old skool.
