Thanks heaps man, I wasn't sure if anyone else was looking for them, you obviously tried harder then me :p

Motorbreath from either No Life or Power Metal are probably my favourite song(s) at the moment.

I love James' singing on those demos.

sir_zach_lamb 04-04-2006 05:24 AM

i prefer the . . .and justice album as an over fav album
mainly cuz it has that heavier feel, especially with the drumming in it

I actually came across them by accident. I was looking at the other stuff available for download and noticed them.

Well if you're into the heavier Metallica then I can understand why, but I've always been partial to their slower ballad-esque songs and instrumentals more. They always seem to show off their skill a lot more.

Jev 04-04-2006 08:30 AM

I just can't get in to AJFA. I know it's a great album, I just can't sit down and listen to it.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-04-2006 08:51 AM

it has too much filler.

Jev 04-04-2006 08:54 AM

I see what you mean.

The length of the songs is also something the band regret.

AJFA is so lifeless, with no bass in it
but its still a good album

...AJFA had some great songs on it but as an album it didn't work. That and the snare was more a click than a thud.

happy! how the hell did you change your name?
...AJFA had some great songs on it but as an album it didn't work. That and the snare was more a click than a thud.
clicks and thuds work either way for me. and i loved the whole album. one of my favourites. a unique sound to it. james' voice reminds me of tom araya on shortest straw, (except with the added tone.)
I love James' singing on those demos.
it doesn't even sound like him. his voice trembles and doesn't hit notes. why is this?

was this with dave as lead guitar?

there were legendary songs on that album, they just had no bass in the recordings

Yeah, I believe so.

There's a thread in the Site forum where you can ask for name changes and account merges.

the only thing i didnt like on that album was that i couldnt hear the bass. and the whole wizard of oz intro on one of the songs. that was pretty stupid

nice. do you have to have been registered a certain amount of time?

and im still confused about james' voice on those demos. it doesn't sound anything like him

JacksonDude675 04-04-2006 09:59 AM

yeah, that guitar riff in the background was pretty cool. but i think the wizard of oz was a little juvenile

I'd say you need at least 1,000 posts. Otherwise your request might not be fulfilled. You need to follow the format too.

His voice matured a lot. I dunno how but I think the production on KEA affected his voice cos if you watch Cliff 'Em All, the live shows in '83, James sounds like he does on those demos.
